Information leaks are relentless, and so are approved patents. Even if Apple is silent, many details about its products come to light every day, and we can thus speculate what we can expect from it in the near or distant future. This is a ranking of the company's five most useless products that we already know something about, but actually kind of suspect that we don't even want them.

AirPods with display

With this concept, one wonders why on earth? Just because someone else has it doesn't mean Apple has to. Putting a display on an AirPods charging case means in the first plan that it's going to be damn expensive, in the second that it's going to be hellishly prone to damage. At the same time, the use is so minimal that one wonders why Apple should do it at all. However, it does not mean that he is working on it, even if he already has a patent. Titanium iPhone

The titanium Apple Watch certainly has some merit in its durability, but the iPhone? At first it sounds tempting because it is again more expensive and a more premium material with its specific properties, but why do we need to have a more durable iPhone frame if its back is just glass? Steel and, for that matter, even aluminum are completely fine when it comes to the durability of the iPhone chassis. Rather, the company should address how to replace the glass most prone to damage. The titanium in the iPhone with its glass back is again just increasing the price of the product without any real benefit.

AR / VR headset

Probably few of us can really imagine any meaningful use of the upcoming Apple headset. Because here we are still moving on a level what if, so it is not actually given anywhere if a similar device will actually come, and moreover if already this year or in 10 years. If the state has CZK 60 or more, then no matter what he can do, I clearly know that he will not be able to approach me to give Apple such funding for him. This will surely be one of the company's most controversial products, which some may love, but the vast majority will not care at all.

Mac Pro

Here it must be said that this is a personal opinion. The Mac Pro has been rumored practically since the switch from Intel processors to Apple Silicon chips, but it still hasn't arrived. Its introduction is also in play with regard to WWDC23, but from the mouth of the leakers and rather cautiously. It is not entirely clear if the revival of the series will ever come again. Here we have the Apple Studio, which the company could just "shrink" a little and replace the entire Mac Pro line with. After all, with the end of sales of the current model, it would be a nice end to an era of professional computers, which, after all, are probably not exactly a bestseller.

15" MacBook Air

From WWDC23, the 15" MacBook Air is expected to come as part of the Keynote. Feedback on it is relatively positive, but such a product is simply unnecessary within the company's portfolio when we have 14" and 16" MacBook Pros. This is due to the expected price, which will of course be quite high and it can easily pay off to buy an older MacBook Pro. Of course, it cannot be a blockbuster, and it will not help Apple in any way to recover from declining Mac sales. It would be more logical if Apple introduced the 12" MacBook Air instead and made it an entry-level device in the world of laptops.
