Virtually no device is absolutely perfect right out of the box. Nowadays, the latest phones are crammed with countless different components and technologies, which are tested for many months, but nothing compares to the feedback from the first users. In recent years, it has been a certain tradition that (not only) the latest iPhones suffer from various bugs after release. Many of these are fixed by Apple in updates when detected, but rarely are problems caused by a hardware issue. Let's see together in this article how to deal with the 5 most common problems with iPhone 12 and 12 Pro.

Low endurance per charge

One of the most common problems with new devices is low battery life. Many users report that the battery needs to be calibrated after first boot, a process that should take several days. It should be noted, however, that currently batteries are calibrated automatically in the factories where they were manufactured. So it is not so much a matter of calibration, but rather of a classic increased battery consumption, due to the use of high power. After starting up and initially setting up the device, the iPhone performs countless different processes in the background - for example, synchronization with iCloud, etc. So give your iPhone a few days to recover and complete all the necessary processes. If problems persist, update your iPhone - just go to Settings -> General -> Software Update.

Problems with 5G connection

The latest iPhones 12 and 12 Pro are the first Apple phones capable of connecting to a 5G network. While the 5G network is very widespread abroad, and especially in the United States of America, the same cannot be said about the Czech Republic. Here, you will only find 5G in a few selected cities, where, however, the coverage is really poor. Also because of this, your iPhone can constantly switch between 4G and 5G, which causes quite a bit more battery consumption. Although Apple has developed a kind of "smart mode" that can evaluate whether the iPhone should connect to 5G, users do not praise it too much, on the contrary. Currently, it is therefore worth turning off 5G on the iPhone 12 or 12 Pro completely. Just go to Settings -> Mobile data -> Data options -> Voice and data, where you check the option LTE. Gradually, battery life improvements to 5G should happen in the next updates.

Green shade of the display

Some first-time owners of the new iPhone 12 mini, 12, 12 Pro or 12 Pro Max have noticed that the display has a green tint after a few minutes of use on their devices. This green tint should appear immediately after turning on the device, not after some time of use. Fortunately, in certain cases this error can be solved by updating - just go to Settings -> General -> Software Update. Unfortunately, in rare cases, the green shade of the display will not be solved by the update, which indicates a hardware problem. If you belong to this small group of users with a greenish display, then unfortunately you will have to complain about your iPhone, or have it repaired at one of the authorized services. Unfortunately, there is nothing more you can do in this case.

Broken Wi-Fi

It wouldn't be an iPhone if the latest model didn't have some problems with Wi-Fi not working after the first few days. Problems with broken Wi-Fi are quite common, not only with new devices, but also with some updates. Most often, you may encounter a problem when your device cannot connect to a Wi-Fi network, or when the device connects, but the Internet does not work. The solution is quite simple - just go to Settings -> Wi-Fi, where on the right click on icon in the circle as well for the network you are having a problem with. Then just tap on Ignore this network and finally confirm the action by tapping on Ignore. You will then need to reconnect to the network. If this procedure did not help, reset the network settings, in Settings -> General -> Reset -> Reset network settings. If this doesn't help either, try this restart your router.

Bluetooth problems

Bluetooth problems are also quite traditional. Even in this case, the most common problems are that you cannot connect to a Bluetooth device, or that you cannot see the device at all. The repair process is very similar to Wi-Fi – just tell the iPhone to forget the Bluetooth device and then reconnect. So go to Settings -> Bluetooth, where on the right click on icon in the circle as well for the device you are having a problem with. Then tap the button Ignore and confirm the action by tapping on Ignore device. If this procedure does not help, then reset the network settings again, in Settings -> General -> Reset -> Reset network settings. If you are still unable to connect to the device, try again Reset the Bluetooth device – but the procedure is different for each device, so check the manual for the reset procedure.
