Applists order tickets via tablets and mobile phones. The first Czech-Slovak ticket price comparison tool of this kind was invented by AARON GROUP. The Tabletenky mobile application helps users find the best price for a plane ticket. Within a few seconds, the customer compares the prices of eight competing sellers and thus gets an immediate overview of the current offer. "The application works like a popular price comparator, which compares offers from different sellers according to specified parameters," says the company's CEO, Zdeněk Hoffmann.
The professional public met Tabletenka for the first time at the AppParade in December, where the developers had two minutes to present the new product. "We didn't invent an "app" to shorten a long time, but a purely functional thing that should save people time and money," explains Hoffmann. The application's aim is to offer the end user functionality, entertainment and, last but not least, to become a marketing tool. "The fact that Czech and Slovak customers are primarily price-oriented is also behind the idea for Tabletenky," he adds.
In the first phase, the tablets are available for all Apple devices, i.e. for iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch with iOS version 4,3 and higher. In less than two months, since the launch, over three thousand people have downloaded the application. Due to the large group of users of Android products, AARON GROPU decided to launch a version for this operating system at the end of March. "The current app has good user ratings, but we decided to improve the Apple version as well," added Hoffmann.
The revolutionary marketing move is used by 16 major travel agencies and ticket sellers in the Czech Republic and Slovakia. AARON GROUP has extensive experience in booking and selling tickets. "We have been developing the Symphony reservation system for many years, which is used for this purpose by companies such as Czech Airlines, Letuska, Čedok, Invia and ERV pojišťovna," concludes executive Hoffmann.
