When Apple last week featured Mac mini, a picture from the server room (so-called Mac Farm) of the company MacStadium appeared on the stage for a few seconds. The company focuses on providing macOS infrastructure for its clients who for some reason need an operating system from Apple without having to buy hardware as such. Coincidentally, a YouTuber filmed a video at the MacStadium headquarters, which he published a few days ago. So we can see what it looks like in a place where thousands of Macs are crowded under one roof.

MacStadium specializes in providing services related to the macOS platform. It offers macOS virtualization capabilities, developer tools, and server infrastructure for those who require it in these specific configurations. For their needs, they have a huge server room that is literally filled to the ceiling with Apple computers.

For example, several thousand Mac minis are placed in custom-made racks. In different configurations and models, for different needs of clients. Not far away are the iMacs and iMacs Pro. In the adjacent part of the server room, there is a special section intended for Mac Pro. These once high-end machines from Apple's range are stored horizontally here due to special cooling that runs from the floor to the racks and upwards to the ceiling.

Another point of interest is that almost all Macs present here do not have (or use) their own internal storage. All machines are connected to a backbone data server that contains hundreds of terabytes of PCI-E storage that is scalable according to client needs. The video itself is quite impressive, because nowhere in the world is there such a concentration of Macs as this place in Las Vegas.
