The series was created by Matt Groening and David X. Cohen, who are also responsible for the more popular series The Simpsons. The first episode of Futurama was already broadcast on the Fox television station in 1999, and since then there have been dozens of new episodes, several films and, of course, games and other advertising materials.
Although a game based on this series has already been created on iOS (Futurama: Game of Drones), but only now has an honest and full-fledged game seen the light of day - Futurama: Worlds of Tomorrow.
On the other hand, it is not a groundbreaking innovation. From the first switch on, it is obvious where the wind is blowing from. Futurama: Worlds of Tomorrow literally and figuratively follows the popular brother The Simpsons: Tapped Out. In case you have ever dealt with this game, you will feel like a fish in water.

A short story awaits you at the beginning. I highly recommend watching it, not only because of the funny messages and scenes, but mainly because of the content. The plot of the game continues and the protagonists turn to him in many conversations between the characters.
In essence, the story is very simple. The planet was partially destroyed and all the main characters disappeared or were imprisoned. At the beginning, you start with only Fry and two cliques away with Dr. Farnsworth. Same as in Tapped Out you have to build buildings, earn money, mine materials and above all complete tasks and various missions. This is where Futurama differs from The Simpsons. You have to go with the characters to the far corners of the universe, where monsters are waiting for you. You need to dispose of them and at the same time bring back valuable raw materials and intergalactic matter.
The procedure is simple. At the beginning, you choose who you take on board with you. Each character controls a different kind of attack, has some abilities and also a life. Everything needs to be constantly improved. As soon as you encounter enemies in space, your screen turns into a battlefield, where you destroy your opponents with a traditional system of moves and attacks. There are several galaxies and planets to choose from, and new ones will be added over time. These are unlocked as you succeed in freeing new characters.
In the game, you can also look forward to lots of announcements, accompanying animations, sounds and, above all, entertainment. I also have to point out the graphic design, where there is no shortage of details. On the contrary, I don't really like that after an hour of playing, the game forced me to make in-app purchases. The most you can buy in the game is for pieces of pizza, of which you have a limited number. If you want to unlock some interesting characters, for example Diblík or Zappa Brannigan right at the beginning, prepare some cash.
Just like The Simpsons, you don't need an internet connection to play. New updates and story improvements, including new and bonus characters, are also sure to come over time. Futurama: Worlds of Tomorrow is simply a real time waster and if you like this style of online games, there is nothing to hesitate. The game will also please all fans of this series.
