After a longer than usual break, we finally got it! A few moments ago, Tim Cook started the first keynote of the year, during which we should expect the presentation of a whole range of interesting innovations. However, before we get to the long-awaited products, let's see what interesting things Cook introduced in this year's first keynote.

Keynote already introduced the traditional video montage, during which we had the opportunity to look at the spring gardens of Apple Park. Subsequently, Tim Cook appeared, who welcomed all the viewers. First of all, Cook announced that the company is carbon neutral as far as all offices are concerned, and by the end of the year this milestone should also be achieved by production plants and development centers. Cook talked about ecology as one of the main pillars of the company, also with regard to recycling and the effort to take a gentle approach to the environment.

He moved from ecology to the Apple Card, which will now allow multiple users in the household to share one payment card, as part of the Apple Card Family program. Next up was the Apple Podcasts application, which has a very rich history behind it. Now comes a brand new app with a completely redesigned menu and user interface options, including a new channels feature and a revamped discovery feature. Apple has also decided to monetize the Podcast app and paying users will be able to enjoy some extra benefits and features.

As for iPhones, Cook mentioned above all the successful last generation, which now has a brand new color variant – purple! It will be possible to pre-order from Friday, with availability from April 30.
