Just like every year, this year Tim Cook visited an Apple Store on the day when the official sale of the recently introduced novelties began. This year, he appeared at the Apple Store in Palo Alto, where he was also caught by several journalists, to whom he could provide some answers to a few questions. A CNBC reporter asked Cook how pleased he was with the public's reception of the new products that go on sale that day [Friday]. The answer was, as everyone would expect from the company's director, in the affirmative.
I'm excited. Currently, we have information that the LTE model of the Apple Watch Series 3 is hopelessly sold out in many countries around the world. We are trying to do everything in order to be able to satisfy the huge demand. In some stores we managed to sell out i iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus, but we have significantly better stocks with them, so there is no danger of an acute shortage. You can see for yourself what is happening here this morning. I am absolutely thrilled!
The journalist also asked Cook about the problem that is plaguing some owners of the new Apple Watch Series 3 with LTE. They are unable to connect to data networks and the main functionality of the new device does not work for them at all.
This is a very rare issue that will be fixed with a regular software update. This is caused by the transition between WiFi and data network and is definitely something we will fix. However, it appears in very limited quantities. I've been using the LTE Apple Watch Series 3 myself for quite some time and the watch works great. We are really happy with them.
Official sales of Apple Watch Series 3 (without LTE) and iPhone 8 and 8 Plus will begin in the Czech Republic this Friday. It is expected that there should not be any major availability issues. Will you be picking up your new iPhone on Friday? Or are you waiting for the iPhone X?

It would be better if that bukvica took care of the fact that we get the same services for the same money as customers in Germany, for example!! Siri.. Apple Pay.. Apple care.. Apple store.. etc.
Nazzi, you better go smoke your Magián. :-)
He's right, bukvicak. Where is Apple Pay? Apple Store? Is Prague smaller than Dresden? Are there few foreigners in it? Partáka is full of top brands and Apple can't have one store here?
There should have been Paris...
If there are only demented people like you, I'm not surprised.
Dements & beech trees, but that shouldn't bother Apple, minorities promote.
there are luxury brands in Paris, I don't know what Apple would do there...
And I don't know what you have against nuts. :-)
We are a small market. It's just not coming back to them, they're probably already working on us. No wonder. Logically, larger markets will be the first to solve it, otherwise it wouldn't make sense.
I would dare to disagree with that.. we are a single European market and the same rules apply to America as to the rest of Europe.. they have no extra costs. This is just language support. Poland has 38 million inhabitants and Siri is also not in Polish. But the prices for the products are the same. Where is the logic now?
So with the fact that it's easier to make money in larger and richer markets, and the trick is clear, but otherwise we're not such a small market and they certainly don't outsell us. For the rest, it probably won't work for those prices :-D.
