Apple announced that the iPad Pro will go on sale this Wednesday 11/11., and in connection with that, its boss Tim Cook and important member of the management Eddy Cue spoke about the new device in the company's portfolio.

Eddy Cue, who is Apple's head of internet services, described the iPad Pro as a great device for consuming content such as e-mails and websites. In general, he also talked about how Apple strives to create products that allow people to solve even the most impossible task. Cue paid special attention to the speakers of the iPad Pro. There are four of them and they allow you to play high-quality stereo sound.

One of the things that's amazing about the iPad Pro is its great sound—it has four speakers inside. My view of this product changed the first time I got hold of the iPad Pro and heard it. I had no idea how much of a difference stereo sound coming out of a product like this would make.

Cook also weighed in, saying that the iPad Pro delivers a "first-class audio experience." At the same time, he described the device as an adequate replacement for a laptop. Jobs' successor described that he now only travels with an iPad Pro and an iPhone because he can do without a Mac. The iPad Pro is enough for him for normal computer work without any problems, especially thanks to connectable Smart Keyboard and advanced Split View multitasking in iOS 9.

Of course, the boss of Apple also praised Apple Pencil. According to Cook, this is not a stylus, but rather a drawing tool that offers another alternative to controlling the iPad's traditional multi-touch display.

In fact, we did not create a stylus, but a pencil. A traditional stylus is thick and has poor latency, so you draw here and the line appears somewhere behind you. You can't draw with something like that, you need something that can mimic the look and feel of the pencil itself. Otherwise, you won't want to replace it. We are not trying to replace touch control, we are trying to extend it with Pencil.

The Apple executive believes that new iPad Pro owners will be many PC users, people without any Apple device, and existing iPad users eager to upgrade to a "very different" device. The tablet also brings with it added value for a whole range of professional companies.

This is proven, for example, by a video from Adobe, in which the company's employees, including designers, illustrators, trainers and other creative professionals, describe their first positive experiences with the iPad Pro. Naturally, their attention is primarily directed to the Apple Pencil, which they try with creative software from their own production. On the iPad Pro, we can look forward to products from the Adobe Creative Cloud family, which include Illustrator Draw, Photoshop Mix, Photoshop Sktech and Photoshop Mix.

It is interesting that Cook also talked about the company's other plans in the healthcare segment as part of the iPad Pro promotion trip. The head of Apple stated that he does not want to make the Apple Watch a medical product licensed by the US government. They believe that long administrative procedures would significantly hinder innovation. But for other health products, Cook is not opposed to state licensing. According to Cook, an Apple product with a medical license could be, for example, a special application in the future.

But back to the iPad Pro. As already mentioned, the twelve-inch tablet for professionals goes on sale tomorrow and it is nice that it will also arrive on the shelves in the Czech Republic. However, the Czech prices are not yet known. We only know US prices, which start at $799 for the basic 32GB model without 3G.
