If you're an Apple fan, you certainly haven't missed the Californian company's iconic Christmas ads. These short and very pleasant spots are of course enriched with beautiful music, which gives the ads themselves that final touch. So let's shine a light on the best songs that Apple has used in its Christmas commercials in the past.

2006 commercial - PM's Love Theme

We can't start our list with anything other than the now slowly historic Christmas commercial from 2006, in which the iPod appeared in the main role, alongside which we can see the iMac and MacBook. This ad has its special charm mainly thanks to the music. There's a song playing here that you'd find in Apple Music under the title PM's Love Theme. But if it doesn't tell you anything, don't despair. We'll probably tell you better if we mention that this music was featured in the iconic movie Love in the Sky.

2015 advert - Someday at Christmas

The advertisement from 2015 should definitely not escape your attention either. We can immediately see a huge change compared to 2006 in that, while the products themselves received the main attention then, today Apple relies on a slightly different tactic – it shows feelings, emotions and of which he gently inserts his devices. This is exactly the case with this spot, which shows a happy Christmas atmosphere in a family. The music itself has a lion's share of it. This is the song Someday at Christmas, which was created by the talent duo of Steve Wonder and Andra Day.

2017 commercial - Palace

Our list also definitely must not miss the great Christmas commercial from 2017, which is enriched with the perfect atmospheric composition Palace by an artist named Sam Smith. In this spot, the first Apple wireless headphones Apple AirPods, which were presented only a year before this advertisement, i.e. in 2016, received attention, and the new and revolutionary iPhone X also appeared here. What is more interesting in the video, however, is that they are relatively well known location. After all, this may occur to you the moment the inscription appears Rollercoaster. Apple filmed most of the commercial in Prague.

2018 commercial - Come Out in Play

In an animated ad from 2018, Apple conveys a rather important message. In the video, he shows that practically every person has a certain creative talent, but is afraid to show it in the final, because he is afraid of the reaction of those around him. This is, of course, a huge shame. Even in this year, the music is extremely interesting. In particular, the song Come Out in Play was created especially for the needs of this advertisement, which was taken care of by the then 16-year-old Billie Eilish. Although he is practically a megastar today, it wasn't like that back then. It was even rumored that this single would be the start of young Bilie's career - which partially happened.

This year's ad - You And I

As the last one, we will present this year's advertisement, which Apple only published on November 24, 2021. It is again proud of the Christmas spirit and a rather interesting idea, where a girl tries to keep alive a snowman who melts with the departure of winter. But the interesting thing is that there was not even a single depiction of any of the Apple products in this spot. This year, the Cupertino giant bet on a different tactic – it showed what its equipment can do. The entire commercial was filmed on an iPhone 13 Pro and is complemented by the wonderful song You And I by an artist named Valerie June. However, it should be noted that Apple achieved such a perfect result thanks to the use of a number of accessories and other tricks. But in such a case, this is understandable and, to be honest, completely normal. That is why it is definitely recommended to watch a short video about how the filming actually took place.
