I'm sure we're all familiar with the current situation with the iPhone. We were used to expecting a new phone model at the WWDC opening keynote. This year brought iOS 5, iCloud and Mac OS X Lion with much fanfare, but we didn't see any new hardware.
Perhaps it was due to the recent launch of the white iPhone 4, which boosted sales of the year-old device, or Apple still sees it as competitive…
Apple's shares, which have been stagnant recently, also reacted to the failure to introduce the iPhone 5. Since mid-January of this year, their value has fallen by 4%. The news about Steve Jobs' problematic health certainly played a part in this, but the lack of a new version of the apple company's best-known product also undoubtedly had an effect on them.
There are many speculations on the Internet about the launch of the fifth generation of the phone in the third quarter of 2011. These were supported by reports from The Wall Street Journal, according to which Apple is indeed preparing to sell a new device in this period. The bar is said to be set at an estimated 25 million units sold before the end of the year.
“Apple's sales assumptions for the new iPhone model are quite aggressive. We have been told to prepare to help the company reach 25 million units sold by the end of the year," confided one of the suppliers. “We are to send the components to Hon Hai for assembly in August.”
"But the two people warned that shipments of the new iPhones could be delayed if Hon Hai is unable to increase productivity, which is complicated by the complexity and difficulty of assembling the devices."
The new iPhone should be very similar to the current generation, but it should be even thinner and lighter. So far, the most realistic assumptions about the technical parameters seem to be those that say that the next version of the apple phone should have an A5 processor, a camera with a resolution of 8 MPx and a network chip from Qualcomm supporting both GSM and CDMA networks.

A5 processor? Won't it be dual core? :-/ Or I have the wrong info again... but as far as I know the A5 only has one core :-/ I would say that not many people will go for it... because it will just be another overpriced single core :D
Oh, I'm sorry... also for the spam... I had the wrong info and I don't understand what I was doing when I wrote it. The iP 4 has an A4 processor, so I hope that the A5 will be dual-core: P
I was just about to write that :D yes, the A5 will be dual-core, just like the iPad2
One core or two, I don't care about idevice. As long as the majority of game applications are not written on 2 cores, I don't see much benefit in that. I would really like an increased battery capacity and faster graphics, which the ipad2 needs.
Don't worry, the A5 has 2 cores each with a frequency of 1GHZ, which is not so bad, but it would definitely need more powerful graphics and, above all, a bigger BATTERY, as you said before. And if it's still thin and light, I don't expect much in terms of battery life, but we'll see...
I'm curious about the price... :)
and I will also connect to the larger battery, in my opinion it has a poor endurance, I am used to a classic mobile phone that I charge for example twice a week and an iP 2 that I would have to charge once a day is a bit annoying, I will wait for the iP 4 and see. btw i am the owner of iPT 1g ;)
I would also prefer if someone finally became interested in flashlights. Everyone is chasing performance and better hardware, but the fact that the batteries have been standing for a few years and it can only be solved by better OS debugging is a problem in my opinion. Or is it really a problem to make a new and more powerful battery?
Otherwise, I would be happy if the iPhone kept the shape of the iP4. And maybe even if it's a utopia, I'd take a 4″ display :-)
yes, it is a problem to make a new more powerful battery. therefore they make better and more economical hardware. Perhaps most smartphones have the same battery life problem as the iPhone.
No, it's not a problem. The problem is with the manufacturers themselves, they keep making thinner and thinner mobile phones, instead of making them thicker with a bigger battery...
The point is that the technological development of iDevice and HW in IT and telecommunications and not only there of course. It is somehow ahead of the development of batteries, where current technologies unfortunately do not offer a more powerful battery, I doubt that Apple would wait for it to move somewhere, they could close the "shop" by then.
Hi to all,
now I've read the comments and a lot of people are dealing with the battery capacity of the iPhone... personally, it's enough for me and without any problems, I charge it once a day... How many times the fuck do you want to charge the phone? Once a year?? :D If you want to use the phone as a normal user, you will charge it once a day, if you don't like it, buy an external battery, carry it in your backpack and then this phone will last you a month without charging. Or some old nokia with a new lionka... If it lasts a long time, you will complain that the phone is big, with a small disk and few functions... If it is small with a big display and bloated with demanding technologies, then the batteries will last... come on I don't know, but there won't be an error with the iPhone...
