Watching series is a very popular activity. But the more series you watch, the harder it is to keep track of them. An application can be an ideal helper at this time TeeVee 2, which will always alert you to the current episode of your favorite series.

The TeeVee brand is not unknown to us. We are in the fall of 2011 reviewed the original version and now the Czechoslovak development team CrazyApps comes with a brand new and completely redesigned second version of the TeeVee 2.

The developers were especially inspired by the password beauty in simplicity. TeeVee 2 is therefore a very simple and minimalistic application, which does not offer overly complicated functions, but whose main task is to provide quick and clear information about current events in the serial world.

The modern user interface, which perfectly fits the style of iOS 7, is dominated by the overview of your selected series. There is always an image representing the given series on the individual wide-screen panels, and this image is key, as the name of the series is paradoxically missing from the basic overview. However, the images are chosen in such a way that you can immediately recognize which title it is (main characters, etc.) and I personally had no problem with orientation between the series. In the right part of the panel, only the number of days until the next episode is shown and its designation.

When you slide your finger across the panel from right to left, the exact date and time of broadcast and the name of the episode will be displayed. Click on the large clock icon to activate the notification and TeeVee 2 will alert you in time when the episode airs.

However, not everyone would be able to get by with such information, which is why TeeVee 2 also offers more detailed information about individual series. On the one hand, after opening the selected series, it shows the details of the upcoming episode - broadcast date, countdown until its broadcast, description of the episode and possibly a link to the preview. There are also buttons for sharing on Twitter and Facebook. In the next tab, there is clear information about the entire series and there is also a list of actors and performers.

The last tab offers a list of all episodes of each series, and the ability to tick off each watched episode is important here. You can do this by tapping on the wheel with the episode number inside, which will then turn colored. In this way, the application considers the given part as already viewed. However, the overview of already watched and unwatched episodes is only available "within" each series, which is a bit of a shame. At least I would have liked to be able to find out which episode you saw last, right on the start page, but the developers wanted to keep the offer as simple as possible. But it is possible that they will work on this part in the future.

In the following versions, we can at least look forward to the addition of support for the iPad and the associated iCloud synchronization so that you have information about your series always and everywhere up to date.

series, there are many and TeeVee 2 is definitely one of them. Compared to the first version, TeeVee 2 is a big improvement. It offers a much more straightforward and simpler interface (which you will also appreciate in iOS 7), while the main goal of the application is clear – to give the user information about when the next episode of his favorite series is being broadcast. Other things are secondary, but they are still not missing in the application. This style of keeping track of watched series may not suit everyone, but if you don't have your own system yet, TeeVee 2 is worth a try for less than a euro.
