Commercial message: Smartphones are considered by many people to be fragile pieces of electronics that cannot withstand any harsh treatment or harsh conditions. However, the truth is that many smartphones have no problem with rough treatment, as they are designed de facto like tanks - i.e. highly resistant. One such piece is the CAT S42, which we will take a closer look at in the following lines.

Although it is an Android phone, due to its parameters it definitely deserves a place in our magazine. This is because it is one of the kings of durable phones today. The phone offers a 5,5" IPS display with a great resolution of 1440 x 720, a Mediatek MT6761D chipset, 3 GB of RAM, 32 GB of internal memory or a microSD card slot with a capacity of up to 128 GB. As for its "durable features", it is the thinnest durable phone in the world. Its thickness is a very pleasant 12,7 mm with a height of 161,3 mm and a width of 77,2 mm. The S42 boasts IP68 certification, which makes it resistant to dust and water up to 1,5 meters. In addition, thanks to its relatively robust body, the phone can withstand repeated drops to the ground from a height of 1,8 m, which is certainly not small. You don't have to worry too much about damage to the display - the phone has a Gorilla Glass 5 display, which is highly resistant to scratches and damage caused by a fall.

Battery life is also very important for durable phones. CAT also did a great job with it, because thanks to the battery with a capacity of 4200 mAh, the phone can last two whole days of intensive use, which is by no means small. With less intensive use, of course, you will get even better values. So if you're looking for a phone that you can really rely on anytime, anywhere, you've just found it.
