At the end of last year, Apple released it with a delay iTunes 11 with a redesigned interface that was largely inspired by the music player in iOS 6. There is an effort to bring iOS and OS X closer together – very similar colors, use of pop-up menus, simplification of the entire interface. In addition to the appearance, the behavior of some parts of iTunes has also changed slightly. One of them is the synchronization of applications with iOS devices.
Since the sidebar has disappeared (however, in the menu Display it can be turned on), many users may be confused at first how to get to iDevice synchronization at all. Just look at the opposite side - in the upper right corner. Then just select the desired device and click on in the top bar Applications (1).
At first glance, you can notice the missing checkbox Synchronize apps. You simply won't find it in iTunes 11. Instead, you see a button for each application Install (2) or Delete (3). So you have to decide individually which apps you want to install on your device and which ones you don't. If you do not want to install new applications, uncheck the checkbox Automatically sync new apps (4) under the list of applications. At the very end, don't forget to click the button Synchronize bottom right.
The rest remains the same as previous versions of iTunes. At the bottom you will find the applications to which files can be uploaded. Most often, these are multimedia players and editors or document viewers. In the right part, you can arrange the app icons in the layout you want if you feel better doing it in iTunes than on the touch screen.
I'm sorry that the automatic download of the iPhone application that I downloaded to iTunes does not work for me. Does anyone know what it could be? I have it logically enabled on my phone.
I would first try to update to the latest iTunes and then deauthorize them and reauthorize them on the computer you are using. If you have the same Apple ID on the iPhone as well, it should work assuming you have the latest iOS (just in case). If that doesn't help either, I'd try writing to Apple support...
I would try logging out of iTunes and the App store on the iPhone, reboot and then log back into wifi..
Does anyone happen to know how to sync apps from iPhone to iTunes? I'm having trouble with the 11th version of iTunes and I'm tired of manually downloading it from the app store.
you need to view the menu file, then device and transfer purchases and set to copy purchases automatically.
I would like to know how to complete the synchronization of applications from iPhone/iPad when connected to iTunes..
After three months you released a tutorial on how to sync something so basic? :D
you'd be surprised how many people still don't understand :)
I'm curious when you will finally remove this synchronization nonsense, there are only problems with it and it's useless...
