If the iPad is not only used by you, but you lend it to family, friends or colleagues, you have probably encountered a problem with the browser several times. The point is that you have several pages open on it that you visit regularly and you don't want to close them, but when someone else is using the iPad, they can get in the way. The recipe is provided by the app Switch, which integrates user accounts into the browser.

Switch is a browser in itself, practically a copy of Safari, but that's not the point now. The main idea is user accounts. Thanks to them, anyone can surf the endless waters of the Internet on an iPad in complete privacy. Each account has its own history and bookmarks. If the user protects it with a password, no one else can access it. Each time you log in, the browser is set to the way you last left it.

In case someone else gets their hands on the iPad, there's a Guest account. It is only for quick use and after switching to another account or simply locking the screen, all history is automatically deleted, so the user does not have to worry about his privacy.

You can create an account in a few simple steps. You enter a name, optionally a password, select an image and you can surf. If you are not currently on the Guest account, Switch offers the classic Safari interface. You can manage bookmarks, a complete browsing history is available and, of course, there are also familiar tabs.

Switch between user accounts with a single click on the button in the upper right corner. The Switch will also log you out when you close the entire app, so there's nothing to worry about.

However, Switch is not only for families, it can be used by just one user. If you have multiple profiles on a website and you don't want to log out and log in again, you just have to be logged in under a different name on each account in Switch and you won't have to worry about changing passwords. And I'm sure you'll find other uses as well.

The application from Michael O'Brien, who, according to him, made Switch with all his heart, is currently on the App Store for the unique price of less than one euro. However, the event is limited in time and I recommend that you do not hesitate. Otherwise, the Switch costs €3,99.
