Super 7 is one of the many casual games you can find in the App Store. Whether it's Doodle Jump, Canabalt or Tilt to Live, the only goal is to score as high as possible, which you can then brag about in the online leaderboards. In my opinion, the ideal format for mobile gaming. However, this game will also test your math skills a bit, although to master it you will not need more than knowledge from the first years of elementary school.

The principle of the game is simple, to create as many "sevens" as possible from floating disks carrying a certain numerical value by connecting them. You control these heptagons by swiping your finger on the display and thereby create a path for one or more disks to connect them together or possibly change their direction. This will be necessary in the event that two disks begin to approach you, the sum (or multiplication) of which gives you a number higher than 7. At that moment, the game ends.

The game may seem easy at first, but that feeling changes very quickly as more discs start flying across your screen and multiples, divisors and negative numbers are added to the game. Then you'll sweat a lot and hope that some star will appear, which when connected to any disk will create a straight seven. In addition, the more disks you connect, the larger the resulting one will be and thus it will take up more space on the screen, and if such if you don't get rid of the disc soon, it can mean a quick game over.

You get a point for every 7 you make. However, you won't get a high score by going point by point, so you need to be tactical. For example, if you make several sevens in a short interval, your points will start to multiply. Likewise, the point reward increases with the size of the resulting "seven" disc. Your final score is recorded both locally, where you are shown a progress bar as you play, depending on how close your score is to those previously recorded, and also online using OpenFeint. At the same time, there is a system of achievements, always in some way related to the number XNUMX.

The whole game is graphically very nicely processed, and the musical accompaniment is also pleasant. I've spent a few hours on this game myself and I keep coming back to it. If you are a fan of similar casual games, I can only recommend Super 7. I will also make iPad owners happy, as it is a universal application. I don't own an iPad, but I believe that the game literally takes on a new dimension on the big screen. You can find it in the App Store for a nice sum 0,79€.
