The iPhone X will be available for pre-order this Friday, when Apple officially begins the pre-order phase. If you're lucky and order the phone in your chosen configuration quickly enough, it could arrive at your home as early as next week. If you are not fast enough or if you are lazy with your order, it is possible that your wait will be extended for several weeks. If you still don't know whether to buy the new iPhone X, maybe a newly published short will help you video lesson.

It surfaced on reddit and captures a silver iPhone X. This is a test prototype that was caught in recent weeks several times. The short (and unfortunately not very high-quality recording) shows a working phone, which is probably playing music from the speaker. Its owner first shows the back of the phone, then turns it over, unlocks it and opens the Instagram application. Several points of interest can be traced from the video.

If Face ID is enabled on your phone (which it certainly should be), it works pretty much instantly. As soon as the owner turns the phone, the inscription Swipe up to open immediately appears on the display. As it seems, unlocking with facial recognition should be really lightning fast. Furthermore, we can see that the Instagram application is still not optimized for the upper cutout of the display. The "Instagram" text is partially cut off and not fully centered. In addition to Instagram, it is also possible to capture the TextEdit application on the phone's desktop, which everyone knows from macOS and iOS device users have been calling for its conversion for years.

The new and long-awaited iPhone X will be available in two color variants (silver and space gray) and in two memory configurations (64 and 256GB). Apple is asking almost 30 crowns for the cheaper model, and 256 crowns for the model with 34GB memory. Pre-orders will start this Friday and the first pre-order models will start shipping exactly one week after that. Availability will be relatively limited in the first months after the start of sales.
