Some of them fit into strange genres that can't even be fully defined, but a number of such projects can fit well into such strategies, for example. Such a case is also the transfer of the work of a train dispatcher into a game form. Two Czech developers who go by the name Bitrich.info took on such a task. Their new Rail Route, which shows you how difficult it is to coordinate train sets, has just been released in early access on Steam.

Zdeněk Doležal and Michal Oprendek declare on the game's website that they are both developers with years of practical experience, and this can be seen from the first images and shots of the game itself. The stylish minimalist graphics are perhaps just a necessary escape from the demanding work with graphics engines, but they fit the game well. Let us recall, for example, the successful Mini Metro, which displayed its trains as multicolored rectangles. However, Rail Route does not share many game mechanics with its well-known predecessor, in the Czech game it is about methodical thinking and carefully strategic expansion of your railway network.
As a train dispatcher, you will have a choice between two game modes. One of them is pre-made scoring games, which the developers themselves describe as puzzles in which you will try to achieve the highest possible score. However, for those who need as much freedom as possible, the game has an endless mode in which players can test all the game mechanics to the maximum. Building new tracks, adjusting the composition of individual train sets and developing new technologies should be enough for players for a minimum of ten hours, according to the developers. So for a game that just entered early access, with the developers promising plenty of updates from both themselves and the active community, it's already a very elaborate affair.
