Farming simulator Stardew Valley has become a huge phenomenon since its release in 2016. However, a game that has been released on almost every imaginable platform may not be for everyone. Maybe you don't like an optimistic mood, or maybe you've already spent several hundred hours in Stardew Valley. The game Graveyard Keeper by Lazy Bear Games works with a similar premise. But instead of a kind farm, they chose a fantastic cemetery as its setting.

In the game, you will take care of your own cemetery. You'll be starting from scratch and over time can turn into a profit factory. In addition to consistently getting rid of corpses, as it should be, you can start using the bodies in other ways. For example, the quest for profit may lead you to decide that the dead can still be useful to someone and supply the nearby butcher shop with them. However, you can also get money and resources for further development in a more ethical way, for example by going to local magical dungeons.

At its core, Graveyard Keeper is mainly a game about managing individual resources. In addition, it also adds a fair amount of exaggeration and dark humor. So if you've ever wanted to try your hand at being a gravedigger, don't hesitate to dive into Graveyard Keeper. You won't find much other competition in the genre.
