Sometimes it seems that the genre of music games has long been settled. After all, most of them rely on the same "mechanics" - the need to press the buttons corresponding to the virtual ones on the screen at the most precise moment. And while such games usually use these techniques over and over again, every now and then a musical game breaks out that manages to fascinate a wide audience. A good example is Beat Saber moved to virtual reality. A similar principle, i.e. a slight change in the control scheme, is also offered by the first product from the Super Spin Digital studio, Spin Rhythm XD.

The staff at the Australian studio is made up of veterans who have worked on games like Fruit Ninja or Jetpack Joyride, and that shows in the final product. The Spin Rhythm XD offers the same precise control feel as the satisfying feeling of a job well done. Just like any other music game, Spin Rhythm XD will have virtual buttons flying at you quickly, requiring you to press the buttons on your keyboard in precise rhythm. At the same time, the game refreshes this principle with the help of a rotating wheel, the colors of which must always spatially agree with the pressed buttons.

In addition, you will also have to spin the wheel at certain moments using the quick movement of the mouse. The game thus evokes a kinetic feeling comparable to real music mixing. The fact that this is the most important part of the game for the developers is also evidenced by the fact that they themselves recommend not playing the game on the keyboard with a mouse or controller in hand, but directly on a real mixing desk.
