I probably don't need to introduce the Crazy Taxi game series from the developers at Sega for a long time. As a little boy, I played the first part of this game on my first computer, which recently also appeared in the App Store. Last week saw the release of another installment of Crazy Taxi, subtitled City Rush, which could be characterized by the following words: crazy, crazy, but still very fun and playable.

After the initial drive, you choose the first driver character you want to play as, as well as the taxi car to do the work and earn money with. Maybe it seems very simple, but I have to say that after the first few runs, I got a little lost in all the possible settings of the whole game, different modes or ubiquitous offers for in-app purchases. Since the previous installment, the developers have literally pumped up the game with new features, locations, improvements and much more. After less than an hour in the role of a taxi driver, you will surely get your bearings quickly in Crazy Taxi: City Rush.

From the control point of view, the game has been significantly improved and the developers have worked on intuitive controls that can be easily handled by anyone with two thumbs. Your task is to always take the customer from point A to point B within the prescribed time limit or pick up other passengers along the way. While driving, you have to avoid various traps, carefully follow the navigation arrows, collect various rewards and perform crazy jumps, evasive maneuvers and other crazy combos. If you do everything within the time limit, you won't miss the reward. You can use it to improve your car, either in terms of performance or appearance, or buy a new one or even the entire body and many other improvements.

Every day you will find different special events in the game, such as driving in a tank, with which you have the task of destroying as many cars as possible, or different races. Also, the more care you give to the appearance of your car, the more money you will receive after each task. In total, there are three cities waiting for you, which will gradually unlock depending on how successful you are in the game. The only thing you have to watch out for in Crazy Taxi is the state of your gas tank, which gradually disappears as you complete each task. Once you're dry, you either have to wait some time for it to refill, or refill the tank with special diamonds that you collect variously in the game. As you progress, your driver level rises and new upgrades and various features are gradually offered to you. Over time, you will start to collect different collections of objects, stickers and other properties, for which you will get something again.

Personally, the game leaves a crazy impression on me. It's a bit of a shock to me how the game has moved on from the first part, where I only had a few characters and a few cars. So it's a question of what suits you better and whether you prefer a varied offer of features and improvements or a simple gameplay concept. Crazy Taxi: City Rush certainly has the potential for long gameplay, easy controls and above all crazy fun. You can download the game from the App Store completely free of charge, but be prepared for possible in-app purchases.
