An hour following the launch of Apple Music today also started broadcasting Beats 1, "world radio that is in every home". At 18:1 our time, Beats XNUMX host Zane Lowe kicked off the broadcast with the words "we can't keep building, now we have to launch". Historically, the first song played on this unique station was "City" by Spring King.

Beats 1 will broadcast from New York, Los Angeles and London, broadcast 24 hours a day, and we won't hear any commercials on it. In addition to music, on Beats 1 we can look forward to interviews with exclusive guests, news from the world of music, as well as programs that will be broadcast by stars such as Drake, Elton John, Pharrell Williams, Dr. Dre and many more.

Zane Lowe revealed that the first 24 hours of the broadcast will be all about music. In the next few days, we can look forward to, for example, an interview with the rapper Eminem. In July, we will also see Justin Timberlake, Ellie Goulding, Jaden Smith or St. Vincent. Zane Lowe will alternate hosting with Ebro Darden and Julia Adenuga.

In the first hour of the broadcast, we could already hear on Beats 1, for example, the world premiere of Pharrell Williams' new single called "Freedom" or a song by AC/DC. This famous Australian band decided to make their discography available for streaming for the first time ever. Zane Lowe also teased the album "The Chronic" by Dr. Dre, which also hasn't been able to be streamed anywhere before.
