No party is complete without good music. Fortunately, on today's market we can already find a number of great speakers that can provide excellent sound for both indoor and outdoor gatherings and thus provide long hours of entertainment. In the final, however, a rather interesting question is offered. How to choose such a speaker? That is why we are now going to look at the comparison of two hot new products from JBL, when we will pit JBL PartyBox Encore and JBL PartyBox Encore Essential against each other.

At first glance, the two mentioned models are extremely similar. They boast an almost identical design, the same performance and water resistance. So we have to look a little deeper for the differences. So which one to choose?

JBL PartyBox Encore

Let's start with the JBL PartyBox Encore model. This party speaker is based on 100W of power with amazing JBL Original Sound. But to make matters worse, the sound can also be completely customized according to your own needs and preferences. The speaker itself offers support for the application JBL PartyBox, which can be used to adjust the sound, adjust the equalizer and control the lighting effects.

So, in addition to proper sound, the speaker also provides a light show that is synchronized with the rhythm of the music being played. An extremely important role is also played by the long life of the battery, which can play up to one charge 10 hours. Its high performance for playback without any limitations is also important. This model is not afraid of splashes either. It boasts IPX4 water resistance, which makes it an ideal companion even at outdoor gatherings. In addition, if one speaker was not enough, thanks to True Wireless Stereo (TWS) technology, two models can be connected together and thus take care of a double load of music.

We must also not forget to mention the possibility of playback from several sources. In addition to the wireless Bluetooth connection, a classic 3,5 mm jack cable or a USB-A flash drive can be connected. The USB-A connector can also be used to power the phone. Premium is also part of the package wireless microphone, which is a great addition to karaoke nights. In addition, the sound from the microphone can be customized via the top panel. Specifically, you can set the overall volume, bass, treble or echo (echo effect).

Right from the beginning, let's shine a light on the performance itself. The speaker can offer power up to 100 W (only when connected from the mains), thanks to which it playfully takes care of the sound system of any meeting. Even in this case, there is also JBL Original Pro Sound technology to ensure maximum sound quality.

The sound can also be completely customized via the app JBL PartyBox, which also serves to control the lighting. This can be synchronized with the rhythm of the music being played, or it can be adjusted according to your needs. It goes without saying that it is resistant to splashes according to the IPX4 degree of protection, playback from different sources or the possibility of connecting two such speakers with the help of the True Wireless Stereo function.

On the other hand, you won't find a wireless microphone in the package with this model. But that doesn't mean you can't enjoy fun karaoke nights with the JBL PartyBox Encore Essential. For these purposes, 6,3mm AUX input for connecting a microphone or musical instrument. Another major difference lies in performance. Although this model offers a power of up to 100 W, it has weaker battery, due to which the full potential can only be used if you power the speaker directly from the mains.
