Internet television, or IPTV, enables the distribution of television broadcasts using the Internet connection you have at home, in the cottage and on the go. This is the broadcast of classic channels, or the HBO channel, so you are not looking for typical VOD services such as Netflix, Amazon Prime video and others. Compared to cable or satellite TV, watching via the Internet has the advantage of a flexible connection, flawless image quality, and you don't have to worry about antennas, satellites, or set-top boxes.

But because the services provide playback, there is a certain similarity with VOD, because you play the content when you actually have time for it. Of course, there's a time limit on the show's original broadcast, so you can't watch the entire series of your favorite series at once. The quality is often variable, when for mobile devices it can only be in SD quality, but for large TVs in 4K. Before we start the comparison, we would like to point out that we have selected the four most well-known and most used, as they are the most logically meaningful from the user's point of view.

Kuki has been operated and developed since 2014 by the Brno company SMART Comp. as In addition to the Czech Republic, it also operates in Slovakia, where it offers its services under the same name. During 2020, the platform crossed the threshold of 50 customers.
