We carry our smartphone with us all the time and are simply used to its presence. The use of a smartphone is really wide, and thanks to the huge number of available applications, everyone can choose what the phone will be used for. Mobile phones are developing at an incredible pace and are one of the most illustrative examples of technological development. With each new generation, smartphones get new features, better displays, faster processors with higher performance, better cameras...
However, practically all top-model phones from all world brands are characterized by one ailment – poor battery life. Although the performance of telephones is increasing, manufacturers are not yet able to supply such batteries to telephone devices that would keep up with this performance. Today's smartphones cannot provide their user with reliable help even for one whole day, and when someone really uses their phone, it can drain their battery even by lunchtime. For me personally, my iPhone has been an invaluable help, for example when traveling on holiday. I mainly used the phone to take photos, navigate, browse various travel guides, search for transport connections and perhaps book accommodation. With such use, however, the iPhone was my companion for a maximum of half a day.
Fortunately, there is a way to somewhat erase this affliction of modern phones. A relatively elegant solution are travel external batteries (Power Bank), which you can compare in cooperation with the store iYlepšení.cz we bring We have selected several batteries of different types, sizes and capacities, and we want to give you a comprehensive overview of what the external battery market looks like today. Power Bank batteries can charge all devices that support charging via a USB cable. It is always included in the package with several reductions. Of course, any other USB cable can also be used. Our comparison was made mainly with iPhone charging in mind, but don't let that fool you. All the compared batteries will serve equally well for charging an iPod or iPad. However, the tablet from Apple obviously requires more energy, and the battery used to recharge it must therefore have sufficient capacity.
EVK-2200
The EVK-2200 model is the smallest and cheapest battery offered. This battery impresses above all with its very innovative design. It is a small matte black cylinder, the integrity of which is disturbed only by one USB and one Micro USB port located at one of the ends. The cylinder is also very light, which makes this battery probably the most compact model in the offer.
Of course, the battery's capacity also corresponds to the price and dimensions of the battery. It is only 2200 mAh, so for example you can charge an iPhone with this battery only once. However, if you will use the Power Bank EVK-2200 to charge a more economical device, such as an iPod, the capacity of 2200 mAh will surely be enough for you. Another possible negative is the fact that with only one USB port (the other one is used to charge the battery itself), only one device can be charged at a time. However, this problem is not very relevant considering the battery capacity. The EVK-2200 is also the only battery in our comparison that does not have a display to read the charge level.

EVK-4000D
The second smallest battery is the Power Bank EVK 4000D, which will serve approximately two full iPhone charges. This model also boasts a very modern design and high-quality workmanship. The EVK 4000D battery is made of aluminum, has a rectangular shape and is approximately the size of a smaller mobile phone. This makes this battery a product that can be comfortably carried even in a trouser pocket.
There is a square LED display on the front of the battery, which clearly and very reliably signals the percentage of the charge. On the side we find a small button that is used to start charging and thus to activate the display. On the upper side, we find two USB connectors for charging two different devices and one Micro-USB connector, which is again intended for recharging the battery itself. The battery capacity is 4000 mAh and it is available in blue and pink colors.

EVK-5200
Another alternative is the EVK-5200 model with a capacity of 5200 mAh (three iPhone charges). This battery is also very compact and thanks to its dimensions it also fits well in any pocket. It is slightly larger than the EVK 4000D mod in terms of size, but it is lighter thanks to its plastic construction. This model has a very simple glossy design, the top left corner of which is dominated by the button to start charging. On the top edge you can find a USB port protected by a plastic cover and on the side edge there is a DC input for charging the battery from the mains.
On the front of the battery (next to the power button) we can find a battery status indicator. However, we will not know the percentage status here. We can find small inscriptions right on the front of the product Low, Mid a high. After switching on/starting charging, the blue diode will indicate the current state of these three batteries.
Personally, I thought that the EVK-5200 model boasts the best mobility/capacity ratio and price/performance ratio. The only drawback of this battery may be the presence of a single USB port, and some may not be satisfied with the mentioned three-level charge indicator. This model is also available in two different colors – black and white.

EVK-5200D
The EVK-5200D model has the same capacity as the EVK-5200 model described above, but at the first glance at this battery it is obvious that it is a kind of more luxurious version. The design of this battery was designed in Switzerland and it must be said that from an aesthetic point of view it is a real gem. The EVK-5200D battery has the shape of a small but relatively tall cube (so you definitely can't put it in your pocket). The upper side of the battery is finished in an elegant grey-silver colour. In its lower part, we find a black round button, which is used again to start charging or to activate the display. The upper part of the upper side is dominated by a round led display, which signals the percentage of the battery in blue. The appearance of the display is also very unusual. In addition to the unusual round shape, the material used is also unusual. The EVK-5200D battery display is perfectly glossy and colorless, making it look essentially like a mirror.
The EVK-5200D model has two USB ports, which are located on the upper edge under the rubber cover. On the bottom edge we find the Micro-USB port for charging the battery, which is protected in the same way.

EVK-10000
The largest, heaviest and most expensive model is the EVK-10000. However, the price and dimensions are definitely compensated by the respectable capacity of 10 mAh, which is enough for at least six charges of your iPhone. This model is really a piece for the demanding and has everything an external battery should have. Although it is not a designer gem, and the EVK-000 is rather a plain, single-colored plate made of plastic, perhaps appearance does not matter so much for a device of this type. The technical equipment is important, and in this respect there is nothing to criticize about this battery.
EVK-10000 offers two USB ports classically located on the top edge. In the upper part of the front side, there is again a small button for starting charging and the display. A small display is located right next to this button and shows the voltage and battery charge status. The battery status is not displayed as a percentage, but with a classic animation of a small battery with four cells (dashes), which we know for example from old mobile phones. This battery is also available in white and black.

I'm assuming you haven't tried either of those acupacks, have you? Because if you did, you'd find that your iPhone charge numbers don't match reality at all. It is necessary to calculate that the realistically usable capacity will be 50-60% of the capacity of the battery pack.

I personally tested the batteries and 60% of what you write is false. There is some small loss, but the usable capacity is around 80-90%. The single EVK-2200 charges the iPhone barely 1 time, rather only to about 80%
I have tested all these batteries and stand by my data. In addition, the number of charges I mentioned are definitely not exactly analogous to the battery capacities. Loss is expected.

In the article (I don't mind that it's a commercial message) I'm missing some specific test, the actual number of charges for example iPhone/iPad, the time needed to charge the power bank, etc. Instead, there are 4 unnecessary paragraphs at the beginning.

We tried to bring external batteries closer to readers in some way. There are literally hundreds of them on the Internet, most of them without a major brand and we have no chance to cover them all. In addition, most of them differ primarily in appearance, or have an additional function such as a flashlight, but we did not find that so relevant. Since the iYlepšení store offered to lend us external batteries, we decided to introduce them to our readers, as everyone could theoretically choose one here. In addition, everything is integrated in a single offer, which is rather an advantage.
We could have included dozens of other devices in the menu, but we don't have the capacity for that, and it doesn't make much sense to me either. I think this comparison captures the basics of what is offered in the world of external batteries.
And if you are missing some valuable information, we tried to include everything that we thought was essential in the article. I don't know what more you want to read about in such a simple product as these external batteries.
I understand you can't compare hundreds of batteries. However, the article reads "Comparison of external batteries - choose the ideal one". Personally, I would expect at least a few brands to participate in the comparison, and I would also appreciate it if you could write some of your own observations - something like this battery is listed as xxx mAh, but in reality it charges the mobile once, etc. this is more of a test than a comparison.
However, it seems to me that you made an agreement with the company iVylepseni, they supplied a few parameters and you printed it, and the real benefit for the reader is zero, because when buying, following one article where there are a few pieces from one manufacturer is fine to the fact that I will buy some shunt that no one has actually tried. I agree that the article is about nothing. it is not even a comparison of batteries from one manufacturer. there it is simply a matter of presenting the products of one manufacturer and advertising the store. comparison consists in assessing things of similar parameters and values. In the article, the batteries are graded according to mAh, so comparing 2200mAh and 10000mAh is bullshit, and everyone knows where the difference is. The only comparison is between the 5200 and 5200D. Nothing else. You should take the article down because it's a complete fiasco.

I think that such articles are useful for broadening horizons, a lot of people these days still don't know about power banks, and at the same time, if the phone lasts barely 6 hours while using its advantages (internet, email, navigation, etc.) and you're away from home, it's great to take them out box from the backpack and charge it like at home in the heat :-)) I can't even imagine being without it anymore :-D But everyone has to figure it out for themselves...

Nice article - it broadened my horizons :) but nothing more, but I needed something exactly like this :) I bought an iPad Air and I'm going to use it to the fullest, so something like this would come in handy. But if I can, I would suggest you to create something like this (article) about flashlights but also with a solar panel. Personally, I would only charge my power bank at school and away from home, and such a solar panel would be suitable :) And it wouldn't matter at all if you were comparing batteries the size of an iPad ;) because, for example, if I have an iPad, a flashlight of its size will not be a problem when carrying it... (I know that the article is primarily intended for iPhone users, but it would also be nice to have such a large capacity, because I would personally use it to charge both an iPad and a Macbook) it could be made into a follow-up article like AirPlay (which I think is high quality and I always like to read). So I will gladly welcome such articles :) One can easily find it, but it is difficult to get impressions from it, since most people do not even know about power banks...
In my experience, solar chargers don't work very well, the panels are too small. If they have a large internal battery capacity, so be it, because you don't have to rely only on the solar panel, but otherwise it's unusable, it takes an awful long time to charge from the sun.
I guess 12V is needed for the stretchers, i.e. a completely different category of power banks than those for mobile phones and tablets. For example, the tablet will also feed power banks from 4000mAh upwards, of course the bigger the capacity, the better it is, of course :-)

The article would work better if it had a different title. You know very well how displeased the readers here accept PR articles, and you put something like this here. Really uninstructable.
