Michal Ždanský Final Fantasy is one of the best RPG games in general, and fans of this Japanese series also enjoy support on mobile devices, for which Square Enix gradually releases older titles, either as ports or as remakes. Yesterday, it released another classic sequel in the series, Final Fantasy VI, to the App Store, coming just a few months after the remake Final Fantasy IV: The After Years. The sixth part, for a change, is again a two-dimensional port of the original game from 1994 in retro graphics, which in no way detracts from the game's charm, on the contrary.
The story takes place in an unnamed world divided into continents. While in the previous works the players moved in the medieval era, FF VI reigns steampunk.
After the Magi War, all that was left was dust and misery. Even magic itself has disappeared from this world. Now, thousands of years later, mankind has rebuilt the world thanks to the power of iron, gunpowder, steam engines and other technologies. But there is still one person who masters the lost art of magic - a young girl named Terra, who was imprisoned by the evil Empire in an attempt to use her power as a weapon. This led to Terry's fateful meeting with a young man named Locke. Their dramatic escape from the Empire's grasp sets in motion a series of events that will affect thousands of lives and lead to an inevitable conclusion.
The original game has also received some upgrades for mobile devices. The control system has been redesigned for intuitive gaming on touchscreens, unfortunately without game controller support yet. In addition, there is iCloud support for saving positions and synchronization between devices, and in general the whole game has been improved graphically under the supervision of Kazuka Shibuya, who participated in the design of the original games. You'll also find new content from the remake that came out in 2006 for the Game Boy Advanced.
Final Fantasy traditionally has a relatively high purchase price, it costs €14,49, on the other hand, there are no annoying In-App Purchases waiting for you, which today's mobile games are riddled with.

I bought FF IV and somehow it didn't excite me. The graphics are disgusting and the whole half an hour I played it was just annoying crap that didn't really make for a great story. So I put it off and regretted the money spent ;-).
By the way, if you don't want to steam right away, discounts on their titles are also quite regular.
I only liked final fantasy movies. Otherwise, I didn't understand their "50" workshop series. And I really won't pay such a knapsack for it, it's a fan price - otherwise the value is about $0,89
