In connection with the new iPhones, there has been talk lately mainly with regard to the newly built 5th generation network. This year's news from Apple will not yet be covered by support for 5G networks, but the company wants to start selling 5G-compatible iPhones in a year. The problem, however, is that the exclusive supplier of network modems for iPhones (Intel) is having some production problems.

At the moment, it looks like Intel won't have time to produce 5G modems for iPhones 2020, and Apple will not introduce the first 5G compatible phones until a year later. The previous supplier (Qualcomm) is being sued by Apple and no one else relevant is available on the market. That is, except for Huawei.

And just in recent months, the Chinese company Apple, which has been covered everywhere, offers to supply them with 5G modems for their iPhones. The company is open to negotiations if Apple shows interest in this type of cooperation. Huawei has its own mobile 5G modems labeled as 5G Balong 5000. However, their use was originally planned only for devices from the Huawei workshop. According to foreign sources, however, the company is now willing to share them with Apple. With no one else.

Apple has reportedly already talked to Samsung and Mediatek about 5G modems, but it is most likely that further negotiations have failed. Apple is working on developing its own data modem for their device, but it won't be available until 2021 at the earliest, if not later.
