Along with the end of the week, we also bring you another roundup of Apple speculation. This time, for example, it will talk about the upcoming iPad 10. It was originally supposed to boast the traditional design of basic iPads with a home button, but according to the latest news, it looks like everything could be different in the end. The next topic of today's summary will be the new 14″ and 16″ MacBooks, their performance and their production start date.

Start of production of 14″ and 16″ MacBooks

During the past week, well-known analyst Ming-Chi Kuo commented, among other things, on the future 14″ and 16″ MacBooks. According to Kuo, who was quoted by the MacRumors server in this connection, mass production of these Apple laptops should begin in the fourth quarter of this year. Kuo stated this in one of his recent posts on the social networking site Twitter, where he also mentioned that these MacBooks could be equipped with 5nm chips instead of the expected 3nm.

It is not uncommon for speculations on a certain type of product to differ from one source to another. This is also the case in this case, when Ku's information differs from the report recently reported by the Commercial Times, according to which the aforementioned 14″ and 16″ MacBooks should be equipped with 3nm processors.

Design changes for iPad 10

The past week also brought new news regarding the future iPad 10. The upcoming new generation tablet from Apple should come with several fundamental changes in terms of design. According to these reports, the iPad 10 should be equipped with a 10,5″ display with slightly thinner bezels compared to the previous generation. Charging and data transfer should be provided by a USB-C port, the iPad 10 should be equipped with an A14 chip and should also offer support for 5G connectivity.

It has long been rumored that the iPad 10 should also have a traditional home button. But the MacRumors server, referring to the Japanese tech blog Mac Otakara, reported last week that the sensors for Touch ID could be moved to the side button in the new basic iPad, and the tablet as such could be completely devoid of the classic desktop button. According to available reports, the production of the iPad 10 is already underway - so let's be surprised by what Apple has prepared for us this time.
