In our roundup of speculations today, after a short break, we will return to the future virtual reality headset expected to emerge from Apple's workshop. Controlling this headset is still a secret, but recently a patent appeared that shows one of the possibilities in this direction. In the second part of the article, we will focus on the Apple Watch Pro, specifically their appearance.

Is Apple preparing special gloves for its VR headset?

From time to time, we also cover Apple's future VR headset in our regular roundups of speculation. It's been quiet on the sidewalk for some time around this yet-to-be-released device, but last week, 9to5Mac reported an interesting report that Apple might be supplying special control gloves for its future VR headset. This is evidenced by one of the latest patents, which describes gloves with the ability to move the cursor, select content, or even open documents. According to the mentioned patent, the sensors for detecting movement and relevant actions should be located on the inside of the gloves, and a special camera located on the headset should be responsible for monitoring the movements and actions of the fingers. This is definitely a very interesting idea, but it is necessary to remember again that the registration of a patent does not yet guarantee that the given device will be put into practice.

Apple Watch Pro design

In connection with this year's autumn Keynote, among other things, there is also talk that Apple could present Apple Watch SE and Apple Watch Pro in addition to the classic Apple Watch Series 8. The latter version should be characterized by a more robust body and a larger display and significantly higher resistance, which should guarantee the watch's usability even in more extreme sports. Even relatively recently, in connection with the future Apple Watch Pro, it was also said that this model should offer a completely new design with a square body. However, Bloomberg analyst Mark Gurman said in his latest newsletter called Power On that we will most likely have to forget about a significant change in design for the Apple Watch Pro. According to Gurman, the Apple Watch Pro display should be roughly 7% larger than the standard model, but in terms of design, it should be a more or less unchanged rectangular shape with rounded edges. The good news, however, is that the Apple Watch Pro should also offer larger batteries with significantly longer battery life.
