Today's roundup of speculation will be a bit different. Since the long-awaited autumn Apple Keynote took place at the beginning of last week, speculations about upcoming iPhones, iPads or Apple Watch have already rung. Instead, we'll briefly summarize the speculation about products that some sources claimed would be introduced at Tuesday's Keynote, but ultimately were not. But this does not mean that we will never see them - some of them will probably come already at the next autumn conference.

AirPods 3

According to some sources, one of the products that Apple was supposed to present at its Keynote on Tuesday was the third-generation AirPods. According to available reports, it was supposed to offer a design reminiscent of AirPod Pro without silicone extensions, to offer control with the help of pressure, a new charging case, support for Apple Music Hi-Fi and higher sound quality. There was also talk of possible longer battery life, shorter lower parts, and some sources even wrote about new functions related to monitoring health functions.

AirPods Pro 2

According to some expectations, Apple was also supposed to introduce the second generation AirPods Pro at its autumn Keynote this year. In this context, information appeared on the Internet that users should – similarly to the AirPods 3 – expect a longer battery life, improved sound, or perhaps an even more effective function of suppressing ambient noise. Leaker @LeaksApplePro also reported on his Twitter account that the third-generation AirPods Pro could be equipped with sensors to detect ambient light, and that Apple should keep the same price as the previous generation for this model. In the end, even AirPods Pro 2 did not present themselves at the Apple Keynote - after all, most leakers and analysts agreed that we can expect their arrival in the course of next year at the earliest.

HomePod mini 2

Throughout this year, there has been speculation on the Internet that Apple might update its HomePod mini smart speaker. Its second generation was rumored to offer better features, improved support for Siri and the HomeKit platform, and some sources even talked about dust and water resistance. There was also speculation about an improved indicator on the top of the speaker, neither was the HomePod mini 2, but in the end it was not presented.
