Apple's yet-to-be-presented virtual reality system has been in the news lately, and this topic will not escape our roundup of speculations today. Apple itself recently inadvertently revealed the name of the operating system for its VR / AR devices. We will also be talking about a new native application, the release of which, according to available information, is literally imminent.

An application for lovers of the classics

Are you one of the lovers of classical music and are you convinced that you can get by with the Apple Music application when listening to it? According to latest news it looks like Apple has a slightly different take on this. The latest beta version of the Apple Music application for Android has very likely revealed that we are not too long away from the release of an application of the mentioned type. The app could very likely be called "Apple Classical". Last year, Apple officially announced that it had decided to buy the streaming platform Primephonic, which is focused on classical music, and perhaps already this year a new application for classical lovers could see the light, which would combine the best elements of the original Primephonic together with features from Apple Music such as surround sound or lossless format support. The question is when we will see the official release of this application. Apple usually presents software news at the June WWDC and releases their full versions to the world after the September Keynote, but it is possible that we will see the presentation of Apple Classical as early as this year's March Keynote.

The fact that a device of this type is really on the way is evidenced by recent news, which this time refers to the name of the operating system for Apple VR / AR devices. The mentioned operating system should be called "realityOS" according to the latest reports. The name of the system was inadvertently revealed by Apple itself, in the source code of its own operating systems.

During the second half of January, on Twitter discovered a screenshot of the App Store log, which also contained a link to realityOS. According to some theories, Apple could introduce its first device for augmented, mixed or virtual reality later this year. A number of analysts agreed that the first VR device from Apple should be more space- and financially demanding, but according to Ming-Chi Kuo, the Cupertino company is already working on the second generation of its VR headset, which should be characterized not only by a lower price, but also lighter construction.
