The first half of October is slowly but surely coming to an end, and many of us are certainly wondering whether we will see an extraordinary October Apple Keynote this year. Well-known analyst Mark Gurman believes that this year's apple conferences ended with the main September one. At the same time, this does not mean that we shouldn't expect any new products from Apple's workshop by the end of the year.

Will there be an October Apple Keynote?

October is in full swing and many people are surely wondering if we will see an extraordinary October Apple Keynote this year. Some analysts, led by Bloomberg's Mark Gurman, believe that the probability of an October apple conference is rather low. However, according to Gurman, this does not automatically mean that Apple does not have any new products in store for its customers this year.

Gurman reports that Apple is currently working on new iPad Pro models, Macs and Apple TV. According to Gurman, some of these novelties could still be introduced during October, but according to Gurman, the presentation should not take place during the Keynote, but most likely only through an official press release. In his latest edition of Power On newsletter, Mark Gurman said that Apple is done with Keynotes for this year in September.

Last week, Gurman reported that new 11″ and 12,9″ iPad Pros, 14″ and 16″ MacBook Pros, and Mac mini models with M2-series chips are “very likely” to be released by the end of 2022. He also said that an updated Apple TV with an A14 chip and increased 4GB of RAM is "coming soon and could potentially launch this year."

 Headphone manufacturing in India

The production of the entire range of Apple products still takes place to a large extent in China, but part of the production is already being moved to other parts of the world. In the future, according to available reports, the production of wireless headphones from the workshop of the Cupertino company could also be moved outside of China - specifically to India. According to recent reports, Apple is asking suppliers to move production of some AirPods and Beats headphones from China to India.

Apple introduced a new AirPods Pro model this year:

For example, some older iPhone models have been manufactured in India for several years, and Apple wants to gradually move the production of some of its headphones to this area as part of diversifying production and reducing dependence on China. The Nikkei Asia website was one of the first to report on this plan, according to which the increase in volume in India should take place as early as next year.

iPhone 15 without Touch ID

The last part of our roundup of speculations for today will once again be related to the Gurman newsletter. In it, a well-known analyst stated, among other things, that even next year we will most likely not see an iPhone with built-in Touch ID sensors under the display. At the same time, he confirmed that Apple has been intensively testing this technology for several years.

Gurman confirmed that he is aware of the speculation regarding Touch ID embedded under the iPhone's display, possibly under the side button. At the same time, he added that he has no news that these technologies should be implemented in the foreseeable future.
