After a week, on the website of Jablíčkára, we bring you another part of our regular roundup of speculations related to Apple. With Apple's Spring Keynote held earlier this past week, there will no longer be speculation focused on the iPhone SE or other similar products. This time we will talk about the upcoming computers from the workshop of the Cupertino company.

Mac Pro with an M1 chip?

During Tuesday's Apple Keynote, which was subtitled Peek Performance, Apple also introduced its brand new Mac Studio computer - a machine with a small body, reminiscent of a Mac mini, and equipped with an M1 Ultra chip. During the presentation of the spring news from Apple, there was also one very loud sound interesting information - senior vice president of hardware engineering John Ternus said that after the introduction of the Mac Studio, the last product of its type that has not yet switched to M1 chips is the Mac Pro computer.

Ternus confirmed that Apple is indeed working on a successor to the Mac Pro, which should be equipped with an Apple Silicon chip, but he says it is still too early for any public debate on the subject. You can currently purchase from Apple's official online store the latest Mac Pro model from 2019, but the latest news together with yesterday's Keynote indicate that the next generation should have an M1 chip instead of an Intel processor. Earlier speculation says that the next Mac Pro should offer respectable performance and graphics, but it is not certain when we could expect this model.

Kuo: Colorful MacBook Airs this year

In the course of the past week, they also flew through the Internet news about it, that Apple could introduce a new generation of its popular lightweight MacBook Air this year. Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo states that the new Apple laptops should not only be characterized by a changed design, but similar to last year's iMac, they should also be available in several different color versions.

The 2021 iMac was full of colors:

Regarding the future MacBook Air, Kuo further adds that it should be equipped with an M1 chip, and its mass production should start during the second or third quarter of this year. Other sources even talk about the fact that the new MacBook Air could instead of the M1 chip have a new type of chip, referred to as M2 for the time being. The introduction of the new laptop could happen either at WWDC in June or at the Keynote in September.
