With the end of the week, we bring you again a summary of speculations related to Apple. This time we will once again talk about the future iPhone 14, specifically in connection with their storage capacity. In addition, we will also cover the iPad Air with an OLED display. According to analysts, it was supposed to see the light of day during the next year, but in the end everything is different.

End of plans for an iPad Air with an OLED display

In the last few months, as part of our column devoted to speculation about Apple, we have also informed you, among other things, that the Cupertino company is probably planning to release a new iPad Air with an OLED display. This theory has also been held by a number of different analysts including Ming-Chi Kuo. It was Ming-Chi Kuo who finally refuted the speculation about an iPad Air with an OLED display last week.

This is what the latest generation iPad Air looks like:

Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo reported last week that Apple ultimately scrapped its plans for an iPad Air with an OLED display due to quality and cost concerns. However, these are only canceled plans for next year, and we certainly do not have to worry that we should never wait for an iPad Air with an OLED display in the future. Back in March of this year, Kuo claimed that Apple would release an iPad Air with an OLED display next year. In connection with iPads, Ming-Chi Kuo also stated that we should expect an 11″ iPad Pro with a mini-LED display in the course of next year.

2TB storage on iPhone 14

There was bold speculation about what features, functions and appearance the iPhone 14 should have, even before this year's models were even in the world. Speculations in this direction, for understandable reasons, do not stop even after the release of iPhone 13. According to the latest reports, the internal storage of iPhones should be further increased next year, to 2TB.

Of course, the aforementioned speculations must be taken with a grain of salt for the time being, since their source is the Chinese website MyDrivers. The likelihood that iPhones could offer 2TB of storage next year, however, is not entirely zero. The increase has already occurred in this year's models, and due to the increasing capabilities of the cameras of Apple smartphones and thus also the increasing quality and size of the photos and images taken, it is understandable that the demand of users for a higher capacity of the internal storage of iPhones will also increase. However, according to available reports, only the "Pro" versions of the future iPhone 2 should see an increase to 14TB. According to available reports, Apple should introduce two 6,1″ and one 6,7″ model next year. So we probably won't see an iPhone with a 5,4" display next year. There is also speculation about a significantly smaller cut-out in the shape of a bullet hole.
