It might seem that the introduction of a new mobile operating system from Apple is still relatively far away, but the truth is that these innovations are usually presented already at the WWDC conference in June, which is not so long away after all. It is therefore not surprising that there is more and more lively speculation about what iOS 15 might look like. You can also check out one of the concepts in our roundup of speculations today. The second part of the article will talk about the development of a new remote control for Apple TV.

Interesting concept of iOS 15

Last week, another of the interesting concepts of the iOS 15 operating system appeared on the Internet. The concept shows, for example, the ability to adjust the size of widgets that have already been placed on the iPhone's desktop, as well as the ability to access the Application Library from virtually anywhere. Furthermore, there is an interesting possibility to reorganize and delete individual pages of the desktop. We can also notice new privacy control tools, which include, for example, relevant information on the start pages of individual applications. The iOS 15 concept also suggests the ability to schedule FaceTime calls, making FaceTime easier to use, screen sharing, and other nice little things. We can also notice the redesigned native Actions application, advanced options in native Messages or perhaps the brand new native Keychain application. Also interesting is the demonstration of the Nightstand mode on the iPhone, the redesigned Weather and Household applications or perhaps the new possibilities of working with MagSafe accessories.

New controller for Apple TV

There has been speculation that Apple should introduce a new remote control for its Apple TV for a long time, but until now it was not very clear when that would be. However, the 9to5Mac server brought interesting news last week, according to which a new controller for Apple TV is fast approaching. Apple is currently said to be developing a device codenamed B519, while the current Siri Remote is codenamed B439. User opinions on the latest version of the Apple TV controller vary – while some are satisfied with its touch surface, others, on the other hand, are bothered by the absence of physical buttons for controlling the direction, or complain about the too fragile design of the controller. Over the course of the past week, reports have also surfaced online that the iOS 14.5 beta code no longer mentions a device called the Siri Remote, and has been replaced by references to the Apple TV Remote. Already last year, the Bloomberg agency reported on a possible successor to the current Siri Remote, which should be equipped with a faster chip and improved control options, including cooperation with the native Find application.
