With the end of the week, we again bring you a brief summary of the leaks and speculations that appeared in connection with the Apple company during the past week. This time we will again talk about the iPhone 13, in connection with the possible significantly higher capacity of its battery. In addition to this speculation, an ad for a software engineer position for Apple Music appeared last week, and it was this ad that contained an interesting reference to an as-yet-unreleased piece of news.

Will the iPhone 13 offer a higher battery capacity?

In connection with this year's upcoming iPhones, a number of various speculations have already appeared - for example, these were reports regarding the width of the cutout in the upper part of the screen, the color of the phone, the display, the size or perhaps the functions. The latest speculations regarding the iPhone 13, this time, are related to the battery capacity of these models. A leaker with the nickname @Lovetodream published a report on his Twitter account last week, according to which all four variants of this year's iPhone models could see a higher battery capacity compared to their predecessors from last year.

The aforementioned leaker substantiates his claim with a table that contains data on devices with model numbers A2653, A2656, and A2660. With these numbers, there are data on capacities of 2406 mAh, 3095 mAh and 4352 mAh. Of course, this news should be taken with a lot of caution, on the other hand, it is true that the speculations and leaks from this leaker often turned out to be true in the end. In any case, we won't know for sure until the autumn Keynote how it will really be with the battery capacity of this year's iPhones.

Apple's newly opened job position suggests the creation of the homeOS operating system

The open jobs that the Cupertino company advertises from time to time can also often give a hint of what Apple may be up to in the future. One such position appeared recently - it is about software engineer position for Apple Music streaming service. The advertisement does not lack a list of what the potential applicant for this job position should be able to do and what he will do during his work. In the list of platforms on which it will work, in addition to familiar names, the term "homeOS" can also be found, which clearly refers to a new, as yet unreleased operating system related to smart home management. So, of course, there is the possibility that Apple is really preparing to release a new operating system with this name. If this is indeed the case, it is also quite likely that he could present this news as early as next week at this year's WWDC. The second, more sober version is that the term "homeOS" simply refers to the existing operating system of Apple's HomePod smart speakers. The company later changed its ad, and instead of "homeOS" it now explicitly mentions HomePod.
