Ultra-fast card reader for future MacBooks
Last week, 9to5Mac published a report that future MacBooks with Apple Silicon processors should, among other things, be equipped with an ultra-fast SD card reader with UHS-II support. YouTuber Luke Miani reported on this in one of his videos. In addition to the SD card reader, future MacBooks should also have an illuminated button for Touch ID, but this function should be limited only to the variant with 32 GB of operating memory. The presence of an ultra-fast SD card reader will certainly be welcomed by photographers and other professionals from similar fields. As for the backlighting of the Touch ID button, Miani said that it should be provided by several LEDs, but he did not reveal further details. The question is to what extent Miani's predictions can be taken seriously. In the past, Miani partially hit on, for example, the launch date of Apple Music HiFi, on the contrary, his statement regarding the May presentation of the AirPods 3 turned out to be incorrect.
Better webcams for the new MacBooks
One of the things that owners of newer MacBooks have complained about for a long time was the relatively low quality of the front cameras. But last week, a leaker with the nickname DylanDKT published a pleasantly surprising message on his Twitter account, according to which these user complaints should finally be heard in the near future, and the new MacBooks could finally offer higher quality of their front cameras. DylanDKT reports that Apple should equip all future MacBooks with 1080p FaceTime cameras.
