Microsoft officially announced yesterday that it is launching its xCloud game streaming service to PC, Mac, iPhone and iPad owners. Until now, the service was only available to invitees, and even then in the form of a beta test, but now all Game Pass Ultimate subscribers can enjoy it. In the second part of our today's article, after a short pause, we will once again talk about Carl Pei's company Nothing, who is better known as the founder of the OnePlus company. Yesterday, the company Nothing finally announced the exact date on which it wants to introduce its upcoming Nothing Ear (1) wireless headphones to the world.

Microsoft's xCloud service targets PCs, Macs, iPhones and iPads

Microsoft's xCloud game streaming service has now started rolling out to all PC and Mac owners, as well as iOS and iPadOS devices. This service has been available for the aforementioned platforms since April this year, but until now it only worked in the form of a test beta version, and only by invitation. Game Pass Ultimate subscribers can now finally access their favorite games directly from their devices. Microsoft said that the xCloud service is available on PC through the Internet browsers Microsoft Edge and Google Chrome, and on Mac also in the Safari browser environment. With more than a hundred game titles currently available on this game streaming service, the service also offers compatibility with Bluetooth controllers as well as those that connect to devices via a USB cable. When playing on an iOS device, users can choose between playing with a controller or using their device's touchscreen. The path of the xCloud service to iOS devices was quite complicated, because Apple did not allow the placement of the relevant application in its App Store - Google, for example, encountered a similar problem with its Google Stadia service, but users can at least play in a web browser environment.

The launch of Nothing wireless headphones is coming

The new technology startup Nothing, founded by the co-founder of OnePlus, Carl Pei, has announced that it will already present its upcoming wireless headphones during the second half of this July. The novelty will be called Nothing Ear (1), and its performance is scheduled for July 27. Nothing's wireless headphones were originally supposed to be unveiled earlier this month, but Carl Pei announced earlier in one of his Twitter posts that the company still needs to "finish a few things" and that for this reason the launch of the headphones will be delayed. We still don't know too much about Nothing Ear (1) apart from the name and the exact release date. It should boast a truly minimalistic design, the use of transparent materials, and we also know that it was designed in collaboration with Teenage Engineering. So far, the company Nothing is stubbornly silent about the technical specifications. The Nothing Ear wireless headphones (1) will be the first ever product to come out of Nothing's workshop. However, Carl Pei promised that his company will start focusing on other types of products over time and even admitted in one of his interviews that he hopes that his company will be able to gradually build its own complex ecosystem of interconnected devices.
