One of the pitfalls of using various social networks is the certain risk that your personal data will become a victim of attackers and end up on one of the leaked lists. Facebook and LinkedIn, for example, recently faced problems of this type, and according to the latest news, the leakage of user data unfortunately did not escape the popular network Clubhouse. In addition to this leak, our roundup today will talk about Google's Pixel Watch smartwatch or the monkey that, thanks to an implant from Musk's company Neuralink, was able to play Pong using only its own thoughts.

Leakage of personal data of Clubhouse users

Unfortunately, all kinds of leaks of personal data of social network users are not extremely unusual these days - even the popular social network Facebook, for example, did not avoid this situation in the past. Over the weekend, reports surfaced that users of the popular audio chat platform Clubhouse were also hit by this unpleasant incident. According to available reports, the personal data of around 1,3 million Clubhouse users should have been leaked. Cyber News reports that an online SQL database was leaked that contained users' names, their nicknames, links to their Instagram and Twitter accounts, and other data. The relevant database appeared on one of the hacker discussion forums, but according to Cyber News, it doesn't look like users' payment card numbers were part of the leak. At the same time, this is not the only leak of a similar type in recent times - the aforementioned Cyber News server, for example, reported last week that the personal data of approximately 500 million users of the professional social network LinkedIn had been leaked. At the time of writing this article, Clubhouse management has not yet commented on the alleged leak.

Photo of Google Smart Watch

While a photo of a new color variant of Google's Pixel Buds wireless headphones leaked last week, now you can enjoy images of a (alleged) smart watch from Google, which according to available information should be called the Pixel Watch. The publication of the alleged leak is due to the well-known leaker John Prosser, who showed very high-quality shots of the first ever smart watch from the Pixel product line. According to his own words, John Prosser also has official photos of the watch that were taken by responsible Google employees, but he is allegedly not allowed to share them, so he decided to publish the renders. However, they are said to be 5% faithful to the original. The watch is said to be codenamed Rohan during development. In the photos, we can see that they have a classic circular shape, and that they will probably be equipped with only one physical button, i.e. the crown. John Prosser didn't reveal any technical details about the watch, but it can be assumed that it will work best when paired with Google Pixel smartphones. Last week, there were also reports that Google had canceled the release of its highly anticipated Pixel XNUMXa smartphone due to a global processor shortage, but Google denied these speculations in an official statement, saying that the new product will still be launched in the United States later this year States and Japan.

Monkey playing Pong

One of the areas in which Elon Musk does business is the development of technologies capable to some extent of controlling the processes taking place in the human brain. Late last week, a video surfaced online of a monkey playing the popular game Pong with ease. It was a monkey that Musk's company Neuralink implanted into the brain of a device that made said primate able to control the game of Pong with just his own thoughts. The company Neuralink deals with the development and production of brain implants, which in the future could help many people with their psychological or neurological problems. One of the projects that Neuralink is currently working on is the development of devices that would allow people to control certain devices only with the help of their own thoughts.
