DJI is set to launch a new drone this March – it should be the first ever FPV drone from its workshop with online streaming. While we will have to wait another month for the launch of the drone as such, thanks to a video on the YouTube server, we can already see its unboxing. Other events from the end of last week include the appearance of several games in the online Microsoft Edge Store. Unfortunately, these were illegal copies of the games, published completely without the knowledge of their creator, and Microsoft is currently thoroughly investigating the matter. The third novelty of today's summary is a smart watch from Facebook. The company Facebook has very serious intentions in this field, and the mentioned smart watch should appear on the market already during the next year. There is even a second generation planned, which should even be equipped with its own operating system directly from Facebook.

A video with a yet-to-be-released DJI drone

It's been no secret for months now that DJI is about to release its first-ever FPV (first-person-view) drone. Although the drone has not yet arrived on store shelves, a video of the drone being unpacked from the box has now appeared on the Internet. Although the author of the video deprived us of a view of the drone in action, the unpacking itself is also quite interesting. The drone box is labeled as a non-sale display piece. The drone is apparently equipped with sensors for detecting obstacles, and the main camera is located on its upper part. The remote control for the drone strongly resembles some controllers for game consoles, the package also includes DJI V2 goggles, which, according to the author of the video, are noticeably lighter than the 2019 version - but in terms of design, they are very similar to this version.

Illegal copies of games in the MS Edge Store

Various extensions for Internet browsers are very popular among users. Thanks to these extensions, it is possible to supplement the browser with various interesting, fun or useful functions. Online stores such as the Google Chrome Store or the Microsoft Edge Store are used to download extensions for web browsers. However, it was with the latter that a problem with illegal software appeared at the end of last week. Users browsing the Microsoft Edge Store online last week noticed some very unusual items - Mario Kart 64, Super Mario Bros., Sonic the Hedgehog 2, Pac-Man, Tetris, Cut The Rope and Minecraft, which entered the menu in an as yet unspecified way. Microsoft has been alerted to the software and everything is fine now.

Smart watch from Facebook

More or less smart watches or various fitness bracelets can be found in the offer of a number of different technology companies today, and in the future Facebook could also be included among the manufacturers of this type of wearable electronics. According to the latest news, she is currently working on her own smart watch, which could even see the light of day as early as next year. Smart watches from Facebook should have mobile connectivity and thus work independently of a smartphone, and of course they should be fully integrated with all Facebook services, especially with Messenger. Facebook also plans to connect its smart watch with various fitness and health services, the watch will most likely run the Android operating system, but there is also an own operating system directly from Facebook in the game. However, it should not appear until the second generation of the watch, which is scheduled for release in 2023.
