Jeff Bezos offers NASA two billion dollars to participate in the development of the landing system

Jeff Bezos offered by NASA financing costs of at least two billion dollars to give his space company a lucrative contract to develop the Human Landing System (HLS) for its next mission to the moon. Earlier this week, Bezos sent a letter to the director of NASA, Bill Nelson, in which he states, among other things, that his company Blue Origin is ready to help NASA with any necessary funding for the mentioned landing system, in the form of "reimbursing all costs in this and the next two fiscal periods" to the aforementioned two billion US dollars to get the space program back up and running.

However, in the spring of this year, Elon Musk and his company SpaceX won an exclusive contract to participate in the development of the landing system, until 2024. In his letter to the director of NASA, Jeff Bezos further stated that his company Blue Origin succeeded in developing a lunar landing system , inspired by the Apollo architecture, which, among other things, also boasts security. He also pointed out that Blue Origin also uses hydrogen fuel in line with NASA's philosophy. According to NASA, Musk's company SpaceX was given priority because it offered a very favorable price and because it already has some experience with space flights. But Jeff Bezos didn't like that very much, so he decided to file a complaint with the American Accounting Office about NASA's decision.

OnePlus phones reign supreme in the overseas market

The overseas smartphone market is understandably still dominated by big names such as Apple or Samsung. For many years, however, other brands have been persistently fighting for their share of this market – for example Google or OnePlus. The latest data, based on a survey of the smartphone market there, show that while Google's share in this segment has weakened significantly during the first half of this year, the aforementioned OnePlus is on the contrary on a significant rise. A report by CountrePoint Research, which also deals with analysis and market research among other things, showed that OnePlus is currently the fastest growing brand in the respective market in the United States.

During the first half of this year, the OnePlus brand has seen its market share increase by a respectable 428% compared to the same period last year. The result of the Motorola company, which recorded growth of 83% in this direction, placing it on the second place of the ranking of the fastest growing companies in the US market with smart phones, testifies to how big a lead this means. Google, on the other hand, has to deal with a relatively significant year-on-year decline in this direction, when its market share fell by seven percent compared to the first half of last year.
