The Death Star is definitely not something any planet would want next to it. When NASA posted footage of Mars on Twitter that appeared to have this very weapon of destruction from Star Wars nearby, it caused an amused uproar among some users. But of course the Death Star was not what it seemed to be in the end. In addition to this fun photo, today's roundup will also cover the Japanese company Nintendo. According to the latest news, she has decided to turn one of her factories into a museum of her own history.

Death Star on Mars

Footage from space is always fascinating, and often objects appear on them that really surprise us. A post titled "Postcard from a Martian helicopter" appeared on the NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory's Twitter account today.

At first glance, the published photo shows only a shot of the landscape on the planet Mars, but attentive followers on Twitter soon noticed the object on the left, which caught their attention. It resembles the Death Star from the Star Wars saga – a battle station with enormous destructive power. The picture was taken by Ingenuity's autonomous helicopter, and what looks like the aforementioned Death Star turned out to be just a part of the space helicopter. Footage from space, on which there are objects reminiscent of scenes from Star Wars, is certainly not unusual. For example, Mimas, one of Saturn's moons, has earned the nickname "Death Star Moon" due to its appearance, and a photo of a rock on Mars that one fan thought resembled a character named Jabba the Hutt once circulated online.

Japan's Nintendo has announced plans to soon turn its Uji Ogura factory into a public museum, a tech news site reported today The Verge. The company in its related official statement stated that discussions about the possible future opening of a museum had been going on at Nintendo for a long time, with the purpose of such a museum being primarily to present the history and philosophy of Nintendo to the public.
