In today's roundup of the day, we'll take another look at Twitter. This time, the social network is being talked about in connection with two new upcoming features to help users better and more effectively filter offensive and hateful replies to their Twitter posts. In the second part of today's summary, we will talk about the streaming platform Netflix, which, in addition to publishing a video clip for the second season of The Witcher, also officially confirmed the arrival of its third season.

Twitter improvements

The creators of the social network Twitter have plans for more news to give users better control over the tone and quality of replies to their Twitter posts. Twitter's Paula Barcante posted information about two new features called Filter and Limit late last week. Their job will be to cleverly hide offensive or offensive replies to Twitter posts. According to the concept images of these features that Paula Barcante shared on her account, it looks like Twitter can automatically detect if someone has responded to your tweet in an inappropriate way. After that, the system will offer you to activate the Filter or Limit function by itself.

If a user chooses to enable the Filter feature, offensive or offensive replies to their tweet will not be displayed to them or anyone else except the author. At the same time, information will appear on his posts that his tweet is visible only to him. If the user activates the Limit function, it will be impossible to publish replies to his tweets from accounts that have a richer history of posts of this type, i.e. offensive and offensive. If the Limit function is activated, a notification that this function is active will also be displayed for the given post. It should be noted that both mentioned functions are currently still in the experimental stage. It is not clear when or if Twitter will definitely put them into practice, but their future introduction is quite likely.

Netflix is preparing a third season of the popular Witcher

Fans of the iconic Witcher can rejoice. Representatives of the Netflix streaming platform officially confirmed at this year's Tudum event that the third season of this popular series is already in the works. Closer details that could reveal something about the plot, characters, cast or at least the approximate date of the premiere have not been published, but the very news that fans will see the third season is very gratifying. In connection with The Witcher, Netflix representatives further stated that they are also preparing a second anime film, and not only that - we should also expect a children's series. All indications are that Netflix has really grand plans for The Witcher, and that it really wants to get the most out of this phenomenon. Within Tudum, new clips from the second season of The Witcher, which is scheduled to premiere on December 17 of this year, and a video from the filming of the upcoming title The Witcher: Blood Origin were also published.
