The social network Twitter came up with a new feature again this week. It's called Safety Mode, and it's supposed to automatically detect and block potentially offensive and offensive content. The feature is currently in the testing phase, but should be extended to all users in the future. The second part of our roundup of the day today will be dedicated to the upcoming new version of the Tesla Roadster - Elon Musk revealed in his recent tweet when customers could expect it.

Twitter's new feature blocks offensive accounts

The operators of the popular social network Twitter launched a new feature this week to ensure users more safety and peace of mind. The novelty is called Safety Mode, and as part of it, Twitter will be able to temporarily automatically block accounts that send offensive or hurtful content to the given user. The Safety Mode function is currently only in operation in the form of a beta test version, and is available both in the Twitter application for iOS and Android operating systems, as well as on the web version of Twitter. Users who use Twitter in English can activate it. At the moment, the Safety Mode function is only available to a handful of selected users, but Twitter operators, according to their own words, plan to expand it to a wider user base in the near future.

Jarrod Doherty, Twitter's senior product manager, explains in connection with the newly tested function that the moment it is activated, the system will begin to evaluate and possibly block potentially offensive content based on specific parameters. Thanks to the evaluation system, according to Doherty, there should be no unwanted automatic blocking of accounts with which the given user is normally in contact. Twitter first introduced its Safety Mode function back in February this year during a presentation as part of Analyst Day, but at the time it was not clear when it would be officially launched.

Elon Musk: Tesla Roadster could come as early as 2023

The head of the Tesla car company, Elon Musk, said this week that interested parties could expect the upcoming new Tesla Roadster as early as 2023. Musk mentioned this information in his post on the social network Twitter on Wednesday. Musk justifies the long delay by the ongoing and long-term problems with the supply of the necessary components. In this regard, Musk went on to say that 2021 is "really crazy" in this regard. "It wouldn't matter if we had seventeen new products, because none of them would be launched," Musk continues in his post.

The second generation Tesla Roadster was first introduced in November 2017. The new Roadster was supposed to offer a significantly shorter acceleration time, a 200kWh battery and a range of 620 miles on a single full charge. According to the original plan, the production of the new Tesla Roadster was supposed to start last year, but in January Elon Musk announced that its launch was finally postponed to 2022. However, a number of interested parties have already managed to make a deposit of 20 dollars for the basic model, or 250 thousand dollars for the higher-end Founder Series model.
