Telefónica Slovakia, s.r.o. under its marketing brand O2 started rather surprisingly to offer iPhone 5c to its customers.
For the 16GB version, all color variants are available for €609,05, respectively when purchasing in the O store2 you pay €671,00. iPhone 5c with 32GB memory costs €711,86 or €775,00 in store. It is available in white and blue. Slovak customers can buy a phone from Apple on installments or at a discounted price for one of the tariffs.
We received the following answer to our question whether it is possible to buy an iPhone 5c and send it to the Czech Republic:
Currently, delivery of a mobile phone from the e-shop is possible only within the territory of Slovakia. However, if you have a trip to Slovakia, you can choose to have the package delivered to selected O2 stores. When the order in the O2 store is complete, we will inform you about it. The amount for the mobile phone must be paid when taking it over.
So I am surprised that the 5C 16GB is still 112 euros cheaper than the 5ka. That's not a small difference...
In any case, it is more expensive than in France, where it costs €599 at Apple and with its operator, the price is around €545
Hello.
1/ The price of non-subsidized iPhone 5c is €10,5 or €12,86 higher in Slovakia compared to apple.fr. I wouldn't see it as a major difference.
2/ The French operator has the phone blocked on its network, hence the lower price.
I know that, but a month after purchase from the operator, you get free unblocking...
Apple does not officially deliver it to Slovakia, so it is only an import. Apparently O2 bought a lot of them in some country and no one wants them at that price. For that price, I'd rather buy an iPhone 5.
They are already on our shelves :D
