The new operating system for iPhones and iPads - iOS 7 - is currently a hot topic, and new snippets are still appearing that indicate how Apple developed the new system and what it possibly intends to do with it. Now the old marketing material has appeared with different icons and hidden settings…

When iOS 7 was unveiled last Monday, Apple's website showed off a very interesting set of icons to showcase the new system. The published icons did not correspond to what was showing during the keynote Craig Federighi.

Of course, Apple has already intervened and replaced the wrong icons with the right ones, however, we could notice that the trio of applications, or rather their icons, looked different. Passport and Reminders were displayed in different colors in the original materials, and the Weather application even had the temperature displayed instead of the current cloud with the sun.

Most likely, old marketing materials inadvertently appeared on Apple's website, from which we can conclude that Jony Ive and his team changed individual icons at least once during development. We can judge that it was just like that and it was not, for example, an unintentional release of future changes, for example, from the Weather icon.

While many are calling for Apple to create an active icon in Weather that would display the current temperature in real-time (as they do in iOS 7's Time Clock), a leaked icon on Apple's website rather suggests that Apple was originally working on the icon design from iOS 6, where Weather also had 73 degrees Fahrenheit, or 23 degrees Celsius, and then completely redesigned it.

Passbook also underwent changes during the development, the icon of which was originally displayed in dull blue-green colors, now it contains clearly contrasting blue, green and orange. Also, Reminders now have bolder colors in them. In this case, it is most likely not the leaked future appearance of the icons in iOS 7, however, according to the speculations that are going on, it is very likely that a lot will change in the final version of the new operating system. After all, Apple didn't have too much time to develop such dramatic changes, so now together with the feedback from developers, it will fine-tune the entire system.

After all, this is also indicated by the hidden settings inside the system that he discovered Hamza sood. In iOS 7, Apple apparently also tested other settings regarding gestures, multitasking and folders. None of this made it into the current beta version, which is being tested by developers, but these options are hidden in the system.

From them, we can judge that Apple is testing the possibility of system-wide use of the gesture by dragging a finger from the edge or corner of the display, which was introduced in some basic applications, probably for switching between individual applications. It is also possible to hide pre-installed apps in iOS 7's hidden settings, a feature that many users have been clamoring for; also the possibility to create a folder with applications inside the folder. However, this option fits better in iOS 6, where it was possible to put only a limited number of applications in one folder. Other settings options cover different effects, colors, and animations, all things that will most likely never appear in iOS 7. Thanks to this, we at least have a glimpse of what Apple is focusing on in the new system.
