Apple users continued to prefer keyboard shortcuts, and the Touch Bar never met with understanding.
3D Touch was similarly affected. It first appeared with the arrival of the iPhone 6S. This was a special layer on the iPhone's display, thanks to which the system was able to recognize the applied pressure and act accordingly. So if you pressed your finger on the display, a context menu with additional options could open for example. Again, however, it was something that at first glance looks like a first-class gadget, but in the finale it was met with misunderstanding. Users did not familiarize themselves with the function, they could not use it for the most part, which is why Apple decided to cancel it. The price of the necessary layer for 3D Touch also played a role in this. By switching to Haptic Touch, Apple was able not only to save money, but also to bring a friendlier option for Apple users and developers.

Due to the failure of the mentioned two gadgets, the concerns of some apple fans who are worried about the future of Dynamic Island can be somewhat understood. In theory, this is a software trick that requires the developers themselves to react to it. If they ignore it, then a number of question marks hang over the fate of the "dynamic island". Even so, it can be said that there is no danger of such a thing. Indeed, Dynamic Island is an extremely fundamental change that got rid of the long-criticized cutout and thus provided a significantly better solution. The new product literally changes the way and meaning of notifications. They become more vivid and clear.
