Users discovered in parts of the iOS 8.1.2 code the promise of Siri localization into Czech, Slovak and Polish. Enriching the service with our native language is indicated by the Localizable.strings section, in which you can find a summary list of Siri's Czech responses to simple commands related to, for example, searching for businesses and reserving seats in them or finding out sports results.

Apple has been working on expanding Siri's language capabilities for a long time and in recent years has hired many new employees, mainly with the aim of including Russian, Brazilian Portuguese, Thai, Arabic, Danish, Dutch, Finnish, Norwegian and Swedish in the list of supported languages. In iOS 8 and OS X Yosemite, Apple also significantly expanded the range of languages for the dictation function. Czech, Slovak and Polish were surprisingly added to it.

Apple certainly has a number of new products planned for 2015, and it is possible that Siri will receive support for new languages already this year. It is not clear whether we will see a voice assistant in our mother tongue already this year. But the positive thing is that Apple is counting on the support of small Slavic languages in the future.
