Almost a year and a half after the release of the first completely wireless Momentum headphones, Sennheiser has prepared the second generation with several new features. The main one is support for noise cancellation and improved endurance per charge. There were also minor changes, such as the size of the headphones.

At least on paper, the battery improvements are very impressive. The new version of the headphones should last up to 7 hours of playback (the first version lasted 4 hours) and with the charging case you get up to another 28 hours (only 12 hours for the first version). Sennheiser also claims that the over-discharge issues that users reported with the first generation have been resolved. The reason is supposed to be the use of a different Bluetooth chip.

Sennheiser Momentum True Wireless 2 support Bluetooth 5.1, AAC and AptX standards. There is no lack of increased resistance, the headphones meet the IPx4 certification. Even the option to play in only one earpiece works, but only for the right earpiece. The price of these headphones is identical to the first generation, i.e. 299 euros, which translates to about 8 CZK. Availability is planned for April in Europe. They will initially be available only in black, but later it should also be available in white.
