SEGA's mascot returns to iOS again, this time in the sequel to Sonic & All-Stars Racing, subtitled Transformed. Sonic the Hedgehog is already at home on iOS, SEGA has released a number of ports of old platformers with this hero, as well as several original (albeit not very original) mobile games Sonic Jump and Sonic Dash.

All-Star Racing is practically SEGA's answer to Nintendo and its Mario Kart. The game features most of the familiar characters from the blue hedgehog games, from Knuckles to Doctor Eggman. The game originally appeared on consoles in 2012, on iOS in a modified version we didn't see it until the beginning of this year, similar to last year in the case of the first work All-Star Racing. The main feature of the sequel is the ability of vehicles to transform according to the terrain, so the road will alternate with the underwater surface or the sky.

Ten familiar characters will be available to players, which they can further expand using IAP for €4,49. On various racetracks, you will not only rely on your driving skills and speed, you can also win with omnipresent power-ups, with which you can temporarily knock out or at least slow down your opponents. In addition to the single-player game in several modes, the game also offers multiplayer for up to four players, both locally and online.

Although it is a port, the controls have of course been adapted for touchscreens, players will be able to choose between two types of control - tilting or virtual buttons. Finally, Sonic All-Star Racing Transformed also supports drivers for iOS 7, but there are only a few on the market so far. If you're a fan of Mario Kart racing games and prefer Sonic to the angry birds of Angry Birds Go, you can get Sonic All-Star Racing Transformed for Phone and iPad for €4,49.
