The big game developer SEGA is going to release several games for iOS and Android mobile platforms in the coming months. Notorious characters such as Sonic will also be present. He will appear in two games before the end of the year.

Sonic the Hedgehog 2

Fans of this proven series can look forward to a remake of a true classic from the SEGA Mega Drive console (known as Genesis in the US).

This game already has one port it made it to iOS, but it met with disappointment among fans due to clumsy controls. SEGA claims that the new Sonic 2 will run on the same improved engine as Sonic CD, so there should be no more control issues.

Sonic the Hedgehog 2 should go on sale next month.

Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed

The ultimate endurance runner, Sonic occasionally forsakes his eternal destiny of frantic coin collecting in favor of other pursuits. However, it tends to be similarly frantic, as arcade races have proven Sonic & SEGA All-Stars Racing, which came out for iOS two years ago. Now they should return in a special variation with an afterword transformed. This foreshadows that the races will be even crazier, because the cars will be able to transform into a fighter jet while driving. We should race for the first time towards the end of this year.

Demon Tribe

SEGA is not only planning arcades for the coming months, a more hardcore audience should also be waiting. According to Japanese trailer we don't know much yet Demon Tribe but according to the producers, it should combine the elements of an action game and an RPG.

So we will fight with dozens and hundreds of demons, collect playing cards and level up our hero. Similar to the series Castlevania it will be possible to obtain the souls of defeated monsters. But we will not make weapons out of them, but combine them into new and even more terrifying creatures. These will then be able to be used, among other things, in a multiplayer game via the Internet.

Exact release date Demon Tribe it is not yet known, but it should be done by the end of this year.

Rhythm Thief & the Paris Caper

Series Rhythm Thief comes originally from the Nintendo 3DS console. Given the high incidence of weird games, it's not hard to guess that this oddly named game is going to be a bit odd.

Rhythm Thief & the Paris Caper will present a big puzzle, which is the mysterious disappearance of the main character's father. Together with our dog Fondue, we will go to the streets of Paris to solve a great mystery... by dancing. Get ready for rhythmic tapping on the display and a pop musical background.

The last of the presented games from the SEGA workshop will be released early next year.
